There are no EDI fans?

Am I the only one who thinks that's a mistake? Or EDI is socially unaccepted? Cause I think she's the best AI ever created XD
That's my simple question!
AND IF YOU DONT AGREE YOU CAN ALL GO TO HELL
...That is a joke.

I love her to be honest, I think it's one of the most interesting characters, and I loved the interaction she had with Legion, especially the files at the LotSB. It's awesome when an AI show human feelings and emotions, and when she said "you are my crewmates" kind of reminded me of One Piece, them nakamas, and I teared like a man xD
Definately looking forward her in ME3, and her interactions with Joker especially. Besides, her sense of humor just cracks me up everytime xD
I always had the feeling that they'd make EDI an enemy actually, until Joker set her free, and she proved to be of trust, that was pretty nice.

Well I had the luck, I guess, to not cross her path often, only in Starcraft 2, and because you mentioned it lol

I loved Joker's back-forth with EDI, however one thing I would have liked to see changed would have been the design of "her" avatar - when the Normandy had an AI I was expecting something more like Cortana in Halo than an odd looking orb.
Now, I'm not saying the design that BW used was bad, just that I would have liked to see a more human representation of an AI that you and other characters converse with.
EDIT: @alx119 as to if she's the best AI ever created, I reckon she'd be hard pushed by GlaDOS - in fact for sheer lol-factor an awesome easter egg would be if Tricia got to use some GlaDOS-style lines

I love EDI and Joker's banter, we need more of that in ME3. If Shep is working for the alliance again will they approve of an AI? But will they have a choice since she kind of is the ship.
There should be plenty more banter

Joker alone has 12 hours of lines

I think the original VA had a falling out with Blizzard or something. In SC2, Kerrigan doesn't sound as country girl as she did in the original, but Helfer still did a stellar job.

Am I the only one that'd get a kick out of it if EDI got her a robotic body so she could flirt more with Joker? Ahh, forbidden romance. It's always so sweet.

I'm going to guess that with a Reaper invasion, they're going to have other things to worry about.

Actually, I like EDI and consider her to be just as good of a crew member as any of the others, and I'm very curious about what will happen to her in ME3.
Me too.

Nope. Voice actors have to say the lines many times, multiple ways. In the end he may only have 30 minutes to an hour of actual used voice overs.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but thats how it works.

I love EDI. I wish they would showcase her more. Maybe even eliminate the Hammerhead A.I. and stick with EDI.
To me she already comes off as being a little (very little) GLaDOS-esque...being a disembodied voice and all. But that is a good thing. GLaDOS is amazing. (maybe offer Shepard some cake for completing a mission) I would also love to have a more expressive form of interaction with her...like maybe a holographic face like David's in "Overlord"...but less creepy.
Maybe even a holographic body such as Cortana (of course people will start to compare the two characters - but that's human nature) ...Or maybe like Eve from the Megazone 23 series who was also a complex hologram.
Basically I would like to see something that would allow her to express a wider gamut of facial and emotional expressiveness. The Citadel already has V.I. holograms, so the tech is already there built in the game (both in-universe and on the technical side of game design). I want to see her blowing a teasing kiss to Joker just to mess with his head, because it's certainly within her personality.
EDIT: format

Since I love both EDI and GLaDOS, and well, if we're going to get picky technically Legion is also an AI, and he's pretty effing sweet too!
But nonetheless, we can agree that EDI is pretty awesome annyways XD
EDI's a Normandy nakama, they won't kick her out, and Shepard woul boil in rage if the Alliance wants to change her in any way! At least my Shep would xD

I think as well it is hard to stand out when you have so many strong characters in one game like ME2 had so naturally 1 or 2 characters fell to side of popularity.
I do think she might become a more funny character during ME3 (hopefully)
