Being the idiot that I am, I activated the Cerberus Network card online using the pc. The problem was that I didn't have a gamertag linked to my ea account. I tried linking but that didn't work. For some reason or another, my gamertag is already linked to an email.

I contacted ea for help but it has been three days and so far, I haven't heard anything from them at all. I'm sorry if others with the same problem have already been helped and there is already a thread here on the forums, but I really don't have the time to go around sifting through the archives.

Thanks for any help.

I see two issues you are trying to have address; both of which would require EA support to solve.

Regardless of the email your Gamertag is connected with, you should be able to link your Gamertag to your EA account. Though I believe it can be problematic with certain things judging by some of the things that have cropped up on the boards here.

profile.ea.com/login.do

That is where you'll have to go to add a Persona to your EA account to get you started. (I.e., it is where you add a Gamertag to your EA account.)

As for your redeeming the Cerberus Network kerfuffle....technically it should be available for the 360 I believe. Check your registered game promotions tab for confirmation. If it is registering only with the PC then you will need EA support to help rectify it for you. There is nothing we fellow gamers can do for you on that front.

Chase EA support up. Also consider using their Live Chat option if you can; I have read that it is very good and problems are resolved pretty quickly.

All right. It turns out that I did link my gamertag to another one of my emails unknowingly. The only problem now is that I've redeemed the code using another email; the one without my gamertag.

This is a problem, isn't it?
