This was my first attempt at fighting a Dragon in DA series. I have never done this before nor am I claiming to be an expert at Dragon Age Origins. I made lots and lots of mistakes and I could of nearly wiped. But I have to say I learned a lot about the games tactics system. I did succeed but it was sloppy with some close calls.

This was a no death play through, meaning if the party wipes I delete the character and start all over again. I was roughly 52 hours into the game when I attempted to this and it was a very nerve wracking but rewarding experience.
- Normal Difficulty
- No Combat Pausing, I always fight completely in real time
Will you accept the challenge?
It's your turn guys, currently in underground gaming exists a no dying ruleset for games that deserve this style of play. Epic games deserve epic gameplay. With enough support maybe we can get the no death ruleset added into Mass Effect 3 & Dragon Age 3
No Death Ruleset
-No Dying, No Party Wipe or similar. Basically when you fail you're done. Delete the character and restart.
- No Combat Pausing, completely in real time.
- Acceptable levels of difficulty: Casual, Normal, Veteran
- (Take as many breaks as you want)
Imagine how it feels 20-30 hours in the game? Every victory becomes ten times more exciting. Every challenge you overcome means a lot more since you perma death. Your entire gameplay style will change, your perspective will change, you will see the story and all its characters in a completely new light. Blur the lines between cutscene and gameplay. You will become highly involved in every adrenaline fueled fight and every emotional cutscene.
You'll be surprised what you're capable of when so much pressure and adrenaline is coursing through your body.
Once you experience the no death ruleset with a complete playthrough you will NEVER ever accept the death of your character ever again. You will be addicted to this ruleset.
Think about it? You die, you learn, you reload, BORING. Why not attempt to overcome every scenario in the
game the first time you experience it?
Please give it a try and when you succeed come back to this post and share your results. I PROMISE you the most epic experience you'll ever have in a single player game. Start with casual. Even on casual you will feel a huge amount of pressure halfway through the game that just makes everything ten times more exciting! If you're an experienced FPS player I suggest normal. If you're a biotic god then attempt Veteran.
Good luck and I hope this playstyle/rulset catches on in the gaming world.
