If you use methods such as runes of fortunes you should be able to get 100+ gold.
Even if you do all the quests possible without runes of fortune you should have a decent amount of gold (more than 61). However, in your case I would say that you can either choose to get the black emporium elixir later on - I'm pretty sure it doesn't disappear, or otherwise get both and find some other means to get the money for the expedition.. which isn't very exciting or anything but I won't spoil it for you
Suffice to say you won't be stuck in act 1 unable to go on the expedition if you decide to spurge all your money in the blooming rose for example haha

Yeah, the BE's tome and elixer remains throughout the game, but Hubert's disappears. So make that the priority. Really, there's not much of a reason to buy anything but the tomes in Act 1. You get plenty of equipment as loot drops, so you should be fine in that respect. And without runes of fortune, doing all the side quests should net you just over 100 sovereigns (I think I usually averaged 101 or 102).
Don't buy anything until the end. Then budget out your 50 gold and spend the rest as you see fit. Or, if you fail in that, you can get your expedition financed by a somewhat shady dwarf. So no worries.

You should buy whatever you want and let a friend in low places cover your deep roads expedition.
Their is no diffrence in money gain if you pay yourself or leet someone else

Without the rune of fortune usage, you should end up with anywhere between 65-85g depending on your choices if you do all the act 1 content. Also, as was already pointed out, the Black Emporium tome is act independent so you can buy that one later.

Wow, really? I finished a RoF optimized Act 1 and earned 150g before Deep Roads. I didn't think it was enough to make that big of a difference.

I'm lazy and don't feel like typing all the steps. Thankfully, someone did it for me.
