hi i'm thinking of creating my 1st archer rogue for nightmare, if any 1 has a guide or any tips i can look at that would be brilliant!  ps will be cheating as well so can take 50 skills altogether, am going to upgrade hawke to level 15 off the bat as it were so to speak

check out IN1's elemental archer guide, I strongly recommend the DLC bow for that since you want to cheat

or maybe try out mjharper's shadow archer guide

well i do use the black emorium but i'm not buying any dlc until it appears in game in the uk

well IN1's guide was made before the DLC release so it still works well. The thing is that items have lvl's and if you cheat to lvl 50 the fixed drop bows (like jackal's) will be low leveled in comparison to the random drops, since the random drop item lvl scales with your level, and random drop bows don't have elemental damage (DLC bow has elemental damage AND "improves with lvlup"). However if you only cheat to get skill points (idk if this is possible, never cheated) and not lvl's then it will work fine for you.

builds going well at the moment decided not to cheat so far, but will do once i'm in act 2, have decided to go for shadow n then assasin build n all archery talents
