Hi All,

Not sure if it's a problem at all, but wanted to check whether someone had similar situation.
I'm just bought the Ultimate edition and run it on an Asus U35jc Laptop (which is the only machine I currently have, for better or worse).
The laptop has a NVIDIA GeForce 310M / Intel HD Graphics adapters, which supposedly switch depending on the programs running.
Here's the thing, though: DA:O's configuration utility detecs my adapter as "Intel® HD Graphics". No mention of the NVIDIA at all. I was wondering if it might have performance issues, and if so - how do I fix it?

thanks in advance! :)

Since your laptop is designed to only kick in the Nvidia chip when there's a demand, I doubt it will actually do so while the game is setting up/detecting your hardware. It's obviously not running any 3D graphics at that moment.

There is suppose to be some way of forcing on the Nvidia chip for certain applications, but I don't know how. You'll have to Google it.

I would be interested in hearing what nVIDIA's advice is. I think that the method they've chosen to implement the switching is proving to be faulty.

You may want to find out what other Geforce fans are saying about this chipset on nVIDIA's own forums.
