That's interesting because when my Hawke as mage sided with the mages, with strong friendship with Aveline, she automatically stays on my side but there was no option to ask her to request Donnic.

There must be other variables that determines when you can ask Aveline to request for Donnic.

That's what make DA2 fun because most of us don't see the same companion support options at the final battle.

You don't need to request Donnic's support. He just turns up uninvited at some point during the final battle.

After Leliana's previous life in "Leliana's Song", she joined the chantry to be reborn. The Maker asked she to join the Grey Warden and she's given the power of immortality to serve a higher purpose after the blight war. Also explains why she will later leave the the Warden to find the Champion.

Bah, who cares about Leliana? This thread has officially disolved into an exploration of who Donnic likes or doesn't like. He completely assumed my Hawke was hitting on him once. Perhaps that's why he showed up to help me fight for the mages. If Aveline fell, he figured he had a shot with the next toughest person in Kirkwall.

I say Sister Nightengale is dead eaten by the high dragon and Leliana is there to protect the champion for Flemeth or someone or something else. Sneaky bard infiltrated the seekers.
