Disclaimer: I apologize if this is in the wrong area. I haven't really checked these forums since they moved from the last one.

Just going to copy + paste what I have written in a text file:

Baldur's Gate II Problem

What should be the list of installed mods:

I'm not actually sure what's installed. Amber might not be. I don't remember how to check WeiDU and get a list of installed stuff. I played BG2 and modded it a bunch last summer, started playing it again because I have lots of time and it's so good.


Current Problem:
Jaheira keeps bringing up the same Dialogue. It occurred when I finished the Amuanator Quest, with the Shade Lord and the Shadow Dragon. After killing them, I went to the South East Stone Pillar (The one the journal tells you has a stash) and was ambushed while I rested. They took Jaheira hostage and etc. The Dialogue after that event is now the only thing she says to me (The whole "Are you okay? You IDIOT. Don't do something stupid like that again, I lost Khalid and I don't want to lose you). Immediately after that event, I used F1 on her (Talk) to see if she had anything to say for RP reasons. I used F1 on her because some mod, I'm not sure which one, has had little messages pop up in brackets about how Jaheria is checking my manly Fighter out and somesuch.

I am trying to romance Jaheira on this character, and I really want to fix this. I have Shadowkeeper and am a programmer. I don't know a whole lot about Shadowkeeper but I'm assuming I should just have to adjust a variable and her romance track will be fixed. A complete re-install of the game and of all the mods is also easily done if that is the only fix.

I really want my game to work properly.

That's I think all/most of them. Help.

1. There is a text document in your game folder called "WeiDU" this has your mod list.
2. Your game is Broken... sorry but that's the bottom line.
Her romance is fine the problem is that you have two many mods (Probably also in the wrong order) & her script has been lost/ over written... You always do BGII Official TOB Patch 26498 ENG first, before adding other mods or bad things happen.

I suggest you reinstall the game. I know dearnise & sarahtob are fine with each other.
That leaves Ascension WeiDU v1.4.24, D0QuestPack v23, NPCFlirtv102 & UnfinishedBusiness v19... I don't use these but look at the notes and see if they add/change a romance for Jaheira.

If you're familiar with programming I'd recommend Near Infinity over Shadowkeeper.

Yes - not that I travel with Jaheira much, but I looked it up and this variable needs to be set to 9.

@ussnorway: When I was reading on what mods to use and how to install them, I was rather thorough on making sure they were installed correctly. The list I gave is not the install order. I know Official Patch -> Ascension -> And Fixpack before most things from memory.

@polytope: Thank you so much for the quick reply. I just changed it and did a quick load. I can talk to Jaheira now. This is just an initial post, my laptop isn't connected to a power source at the moment so I don't have the time to play until she starts a romance dialogue. Hopefully she will.

Where did you find out that JAHEIRABANDITPLOT needs to be 9? Is there an archive or a website that I can peruse should I run into trouble again?
