Okay, so from what I've read Eamon was 15 years old when his dad, Arl Rendorn Guerrin was killed in the battle of West Hill. That was in 8:99 Blessed, and DAO takes place in 9:30 Dragon.
So that makes Arl Eamon 46 years old. Good grief, that guy must have that aging disease cause he looks like he's pushing 70. lol
So, Eamon is supposed to be 46 years old? xD

He *was* being ravaged by a poison that nearly killed him... and the game seems to think he was ~30 during the rebellion against Orlais. (In his estate, you can see paintings of a younger Eamon with the same huge beard in armor.)

Hey, let's see how good you look when you live with Isolde for Maker knows how long.
Considering Teagan is only a few years younger than Eamon, I say a combination of Loghain's poison, and Isolde's annoying accent is the best reason for Eamon looking like the oldest character in Origins.

Well that would explain why Alistair looks 30 when The Calling's story implies that he is only 20 in DAO.

Alistair startrd out as being 30. They just didn't change him when they changed the ages. I prefer to think of him as late 20s-early 30s, anyway, and Eamon as significantly older than 46, myself.

It's the beard. He doesn't look 46 to me either. And yeah, living with Isolde probably doesn't help.

They also could have given Eamon less gray hair, along with perhaps a different beard style.

Do you realize than Isolde was a teenager at the end of the invasion? She is also in her mid-late forties. Since Connor's magic had to come from somewere, I claim than she is doign a Flemeth-style deal, only insted of stealing bodies she steals youth.

If you speak to Isolde about why she fears magic so much, it's because her family has a history of it, and her ancestors were "evil" mages. So, when she noticed Connor showing signs, it was a case of deja-vu for her.

Yeah well, they also say Zaeed is only 40. The timeline of his life doesn't even begin to line up if he's only forty. Unless he started the blue suns when he was ten. Which would be guhdamn impressive.
Also, as long as we're talking character age Leliana is in her late twenties/early thirties. Leliana's age can be easily figured out by simple math. She says she was born around the end of the rebellions though she never says before or after. So when you meet Leliana in DA2 she could be in her forties and she looks younger than she did in Origins. Not sure how that works, of course she's alive no matter what so, maybe there's a correlation?
