Hi all,
I have a question that I cannot find by searching. I hope some of the veteran players here might know, so here goes......
If I am 100% completely done (never to return) with the OC, MoTB, and SoZ campaigns, is it totally "safe" to delete these from my install without affecting my ability to play on PW's and/or downloaded user-made modules ?
If so, could someone please list exactly *which* files are safe to delete ? (I am guessing the Modules, the Campaigns, the Movies)..... how about any others unnecessary for online play ?
Reason is simple: trying to free up valuable space on my SSD. No use to keep GB's of stuff I'll never use again.
Thanks very much for any advice you can share !

I would not delete the source folders (called Modules, Campaigns etc.) from your install as you will use them for other NWN2 gameplay. But the files inside may be ok.
The best way to go about it would be to take out everything you think is ok to take (don't take anything out of the data folder) and place it in a seperate location on your computer. Then try playing a custom module or multiplayer and see if you have a problem.

An excellent idea ! Guess there's likely little chance for permanent trouble by doing as you suggest, since that is certainly "un-doable" if encountering problems.
I really can't imagine WHY multiplayer or custom modules would ever need the OC,MoTB or SoZ movies, modules, etc. ....... but better safe than sorry, I suppose.
Thanks abunch !

Just make sure you are fully patched before you do this.
