This was a great mod in DAO - it caused all of your companions to join the party with no talent or skill or attribute points assigned, so you could do all of them yourself and spec out everyone the way you wanted right from the start.
Is there something similar for DA2, or do I just have to wait to respec everyone? Since I'm already using a mod to replace all the missing talent trees for the companions (so now Aveline can learn 2-H weapons, for example), it would be nice to start right from the beginning with the talents I want, rather than having to wait for a respec.
If someone has already produced this mod, please point the way.

I suggest doing the 7g trick in the prologue and just buying 5 of them as soon as you get in to Kirkwall, that way the only ones that get affected by the issue you're having are Aveline and your sibling as you'll be able to respec everyone else before any combat if you so choose.

If you talk to Athenriel accept her quest and then take the 2g bribe from the merchant you can then do the Red Hand quest and get the 5g off Friedrick's corpse.
