Has anyone tried to build a health regen set to fight him on Hard or Nightmare? Does it work? I have saved up a lot of gear that has health regen on it in thoughts of if I can have my health regen fast enough I could take him out on my warrior with no problems that way. I just dont want to go to all of the time to rune up stuff and 1 it wont transfer and 2 if it wont work.

As long as your gear isn't any dlc gear that isn't from Return to Ostagar or Awakening, you should be fine.
I'm not sure that health regen gear would make too much of a difference as I've had well-built tanks die in a blink of an eye. One second, they have full health, and the next they're dead.
Having health regen gear couldn't hurt, but don't neglect having as much armor/defense/health as possible.
This is one fight where I just try to get it over a.s.a.p. and throw everything against the harvester, because if you play around long enough, someone is bound to die, and the harvester can keep summoning more skeletons.

I don't think the health regen rate will be able to offset the damage you can take. My party was fine until the start of the 2nd phase, all 3 companions dropped at same time. Still killed the thing just wasn't pretty.

Ok wasnt sure if it would make a difference but wanted to make sure before I took over all of my health regen stuff into Golems.

100 percent dodge(not defense) is the way to go against Harvester,because the skeletons are the problem,not the boss himself.
Works with every class.
