I just finished the 4 part Mass Effect: Evolution comic series...and I have to say, I suspected an Illusive Man and Reaper connection, but I never imagined how it happened. Wow. Great back story, but it still doesn't explain how or why TIM turns on Shepard...especially if Shepard handed over the collector base, to TIM's glowy beady eyed delight (creepy how excited he was about that in the end). Anyone want to speculate about what happened to make TIM do a 180 on Shepard? Remote Reaper control via very slow Indoctrination? Whatever your ideas are, I would love to discuss them.

I have seen these comics. They hurt my brain. The art is of poor quality and the writing isn't much better.

I guess the writing could be better, but I like the fact that they give a good background story. The new set, ME:Evolution isn't that bad as comics go. This set puts a lot of things about the Illusive man into perspective.

I do not know everything about the story spoilers released so far, so I'm sorry if I'm wrong, but I deeply believe that Cerberus is no longer under the TIM's control.
Why would he be against you when he should send his forces to fight the Reapers?
Makes no sense if he's as smart as the game portrays.
And probably a Reaper indocrinated agent took control of his organization.
