The dog will never level up at all, regardless of hawke's level? Oh btw I called my dog Carver.

I assume that he scales with your level, as he can survive long in end game fights. But you can't distribute attribute points or talents. He is just a summoned ally, no party member.
By the way, good dog name. Was it to remember or to spite the original Carver?

Hmm, later on, that name would have been cool, but it must have been awkward during the escape from Lothering. I can just imagine human Carver's reaction.ishmaeltheforsaken wrote...

He's quite effective as assassin bait. They just can't seem to get enough of backstabbing the poor thing. I guess they're just cat people.
