I was hoping for a brief summary of what weapons use what attributes, and a description of the dex fix and exactly what it does.
IS there a good sum up of the dex issues and what weapons use what attributes?

Daggers and bows use dexterity+strength. All other melee weapons use strength. Staves use magic.
The dexterity bug originally affected daggers and bows in that their damage was based 100% from strength. After the fix, it is 50% strength, 50% dexterity, as intended.

Yes, the "fix" was a part of the 1.02 patch for pc, and 1.04 for consoles.

Dont forget daggers only get 85% of that bonus. Plus without the first feat, the offhand does less damage.

Daggers only get 85% bonus, yes, but thats from str. they get 100% from dex do they not?
