Unable to connect to servers

I know that this has been an ongoing issue for a lot of people, myself included.  I'm not sure if this is the issue with a lot of folks.  But would like Bioware to know that when I first bought the game in March I was able to connect with no issues.  Then later on in that month, or maybe the first week of April I was playing then a message popped up saying that I had been disconnected from the servers, didn't think much about it at the time.  However, after that I have never been able to connect since. 
I can connect to the servers through the demo of Mass Effect 2, if its the same technology.

So some sort of patching on the servers, or a firewall change on EA's side may be what's causing this issue.  I have done everything that has been suggested, as well as, reran the configureation to repair the game and add to the firewall and stil have no luck.

I'm still having the same problem. I can't log in and get access to my unlockables or DLC's truely sucks.

Looking at your profile, you have been on hand since DAO was brand new, and seemingly haven't become aware that PCs are VERY different from gaming consoles.  That's why each of the four Bioware forums dealing with PC Tech all have a "Read First" or "Before Anything Else" pinned as stickies at the top. 

Then, looking at the thread you piggybacked a comment onto previously, you still don't appear to be very willing to actually *participate* in your own problem's solution:

This problem isn't on our side at all. It is on EA side. None of your solutions are gonna work at all. So quit trying to think it is our problem because it is not. I had to get another email address and transfer my Signature Edition DLC over to another account since I had the same problem too with my older account.

I've tried everything they've said on the forums and I have gone to the online ea chat and did what they said too. still not working so far. I have tried on three different computers here at home so it's not just my personal comp. I can't afford to re-buy the game and all the DLC's to get a new account.

I am sorry I've not had a chance to reread some of these forums. Should I send you my specs by messaging you in the format you have advised? I'm not a very technical mindset. It is gibberish to me, however I shall do my best to get the right information to be able to access my unlockables and future DLC's. I was able to sign in long enough to authorise the all items pack I bought. But I finally got Hador's Razor in and am working on Dragon Age Legends to get the stuff there.

I have the same problem, I've trawled this forum and spent hours on other forums, I have tried a few things but none work.  I have a fast, new, high spec pc, 20Mb/s ADSL connection, the game runs just fine at highest spec, etc. I can access the Bioware servers just fine (obviously).

THIS IS AN ACCOUNT PROBLEM, NOT A PC/GAME SETUP PROBLEM, NOT AN INTERNET CONNECTION OR FIREWALL PROBLEM - I HAVE REAL MONEY TIED UP IN CONTENT ON BIOWARE SERVERS THAT I CAN'T ACCESS - BIOWARE PLEASE FIX MY ACCOUNT.

PS I notice that there aren't any "frustrated" smileys - I wonder why?

You are shouting in a place for Gamers, by Gamers. It's SELF-HELP here. no official anything. You have to go to EA for that. This is where we discuss the GAME's own Tech. There is a separate place where we discuss site and account problems, but that is the same kind of place. Self-Help, that's all, get it? Go shout somewhere else.
