Hi guys, how are you?

I'm sure you've heard this before when someone completed the Reaper IFF mission, they activate LEGION and they want to do his loyalty mission before heading into the Omega-4 relay while saving Kelly but they can't because EDI manages to get the IFF ready right away.

So I'm wondering if there is any way (most likely through the console), and I'm asking for help here from developers or anyone who knows the solution, to flip the "EDI has the IFF ready" flag?

This has to be just a simple boolean somewhere that can be accessed through the console... I'm looking to switch it off, perform LEGION's loyalty mission, then switching it back on.

After completing the IFF you need to activate Legion; don't forget to immediately talk to him again - he will give you his loyalty; help Legion deal with the heretics and when you return to Normandy EDI will be ready.

I've also left Tali's loyalty mission alone; got Legion, helped Tali (bringing Legion of course, a really bad move considering the charges > talk to Legion afterwards to unlock his loyalty mission > help Legion > EDI's ready.

P.S. There's also a mod available that will unlock all recruitment missions right from the start - so you can recruit Legion first and take him along on all the other missions - there's a link in the Guide's sticky.

After the Reaper IFF, you can do two missions before the Collectors show up. I usually save Tali's loyalty mission for after the Reaper IFF because I love the reactions I get bringing Legion along. Just be sure to activate Legion right after you finish with the Reaper IFF mission, and to talk to him until he tells you that he's building a consensus or gives you the mission. If you have done everything possible up to that point, Legion will give you his loyalty mission either the first or second time you talk to him, without you having to do any missions.

As a side note, be sure to ask him about upgrades before asking him about anything else, as once his loyalty mission is added to your log, he won't talk about anything else with you before you complete it.

I just loaded up Gibbed's save editor and I don't see anywhere to change the Reaper IFF plot flag. I'm not sure how to edit saves directly, so I can't help you with that. However, if you still have save either before, during, or right after doing the Reaper IFF mission, you should be able to load that save and talk to Legion to get his loyalty mission once you're back on the Normandy.
