To me the game appears to be structured as highly segmented missions in search for a means to combat the Reapers.  With that being said I find that there is too much potential both with the planet Feros and with Shiala not to include them.  Feros is a bastion of Protheon technology, and Shiala for her aforementioned cipher and overcoming indoctrination.
 
I therefore believe Feros will become a point of interest for Shepard, and if he had spared Shiala previously she will likely still be working at the colony; perhaps even being attached as a temporary squad member during the mission on Feros.

If true can she be a love interest (LI); because of the community of support and her overtures during ME2 I suspect she can but it will be relegated solely the confines of the mission, and therefore not as extensive as an established (Paramour) love interest.

 I still also could imagine an interest of Cerberus for Shiala and her Thorian altered biotic powers.
If it should be true that several Cerberus cells are indoctrinated in ME3, Shiala could be a major threat to their plans being the only being who overcame indoctrination. So maybe you have to save her from the Illusive Man's grip. 

And maybe she and the surviving Feros colonists will represent a vital counter measure against indoctrination depending on how the Thorian experience has changed her/their powers/abilities.The seed for being a Love interest was already planted in ME2, all it takes is to give her a major and important part in fighting the Reapers and their indoctrination.

I agree that Shiala looked better in ME1 than ME2.  But think of it this way: if Shepard could romance her, he/she would be with the ONLY GREEN Asari in the galaxy!   That alone is worth a chance!
Seriously, I really like her character.  I think her story, although brief, is worth keeping around and maybe exploring a little further in ME3.  A fling would be nice but full on LI just isn't going to happen.

No. Shep might hook up with her but I don't think they'll add her as a squadmate. And Emily Wong seems likely as well maybe as some sort of on board reporter.

They alluded to her being a possible LI. I sure hope so! I just find a green Asari very.....different. In a good, alluring kind of way. I SUPPORT SHIALA!

I would think so, after the little hint she gave away after talking to that rep on Illium. Something like maybe when I'm not busy helping the colony, and you're not doing whatever you do, with some coy armor polish/rub, and walking off. Wouldn't mind her, nor Aria. Asari are good in my books.

I hope she can be at least a fling, along with Gianna Parasini. I think it was said awhile back that there will be other options for romance out there outside of your squad (obviously it is possible to keep your relationship with Miranda, Jack, Jacob, Kelly, Samara, etc., who are not in the squad this time around), so all hope is not lost.

Also I hope we see Shi'ira and her crazy bubble-bed again.

Yeah I concur. BioWare should just make a romance game where everyone is try-sexual and make the romance gamers all happy slappy. A little romance is fine but people on this forum forget that there's bigger issues at stake in Mass Effect (Reaper invasion Helloooo.)

Side note. I liked ME1 Shiala better than ME2. Purple over green and smooth voice over whiskey voice.

There better be a Shiala romance, or at the very least a fling. That's all I have to say. Otherwise I will be VERY disappointed.
