Yeah I clicked the link for pre-order, but a pop-up saying "Before we can add Mass Effect™ 3 N7 Collector's Edition to your cart, please make the following selections:" but doesn't show anything after that. Weird.

I reeeeally want the one from Origins but I really REALLY want to get it from Steam like I did with ME1 and ME2.

my issue is that omni-blade doesn't seem like something soldier shepard would use. it seems like more of a tech weapon, something for the engineer class. i feel like soldier shepard should have some physical blade. something that extends and retracts from his armor.
oh, and vanguard shouldn't have any kind of blade. he should just be able to throw really powerful armor-shattering biotic punches. because vanguards go hard.

I'm ecstatic that we'll be able to buy and sell items again. Although i don't think it'll be to the magnitude of ME1's or DAO's buying and selling system, at least it'll be there.

Honest, real and actual laughing out loud on my part occurred from seeing this post. The nonsensical juxtaposition of whining against something perviously clamoured for in the past, combined with the most ridiculous insult I've seen made seriously against a group of people in a long time.
Seriously, I wish that line could be immortalized as a true internet meme, it's so laughably archaic in the way it's phrased. Hades? Seriously?

Good lord that's amazing. The next time I hate a game developer for something they've done, or a fellow player in a death-match that has frustrated me or, hell, ANYTHING related to gaming that makes me angry- you can be sure I'm going to tell them to "roast in gaming hades for all time." Maybe even it could be used out of context, as if gaming hades is a place even non-gaming related sins sentance you to.
Oh, on a side note I don't believe the return of RPG mechanics won't ruin ME3.
But you know what has disappointed me in all of this news rush? There is a severe and dehabilitating lack of Tali'Zorah and details on the new branching evolutions. If there was something I really want to see get a demo, it's character progression and the new systems in place for it. (That and Tali's new design.
