IIRC British Sniper Guy was confirmed to be not James Vega. Sadly...
Acutally, so far as I remembered, James Sanders was confirmed not to be the Sniper guy. Sure, Vega is just a rename, but in the strictest sense, James Vega was never confirmed not to be anything.
I don't relly believe Vega is Sniper Ben, but wouldn't it be just like Bioware to play with fragile fangirl emotions by being all literal and leading everyone on the wrong trail?
Anyway... why are they making such a big secret out of it? Having him keep his helmet on in every scene we saw himn in so far... His face must be either too ruggedly handsome or too ugly to see the light of day. Maybe he's a husk? Or an Elcor prince?

Not saying he is. Just saying that they confirmed James Sanders (and not James Vega) was not the sniper. Dunno if they confirmed it after the name change, but if they did, that's cool. However, is armor IS very similar to the British Sniper's, and like I said, he uses sniper rifles. Just them sharing traits seems odd.
