There are two indicators one blue and one red. I figure it's the same system with just a vertical presentation.

Bingo. At least one shot made it look like Legion was also with the Quarians in front of that hologram, but then the shots after showed him with just Shepard in some kind of run-down ship. Don't know if that was on the Migrant Fleet or somewhere else. 

As for that last thing, that was weird. I'm guessing its a monument on a planet somewhere. Can't wait to visit it.

The Normandy in that shot looks a little run down. I would say it's because the Alliance had disassembled and reassembled it but not completely but that's after the trial. But maybe it's just the screen. But then again, why would the Council be ON the Normandy? They aren't the type for personal meetings.

After that demo, my hopes have been renewed completely. It looks like a fair customization system and a diverse amount of choices in the stats. Bravo Bioware.

Thats the one. Knew I wasn't seeing things.

I guess this means you at least get to attempt negotiations with the Quarians and Geth. Thats one of my favourite story-archs in Mass Effect.

Shepard did kill 300,000 Batarians. That could be interpreted as an act of war, and the Council really doesn't want war with the Batarians so I'm guessing its like Hackett coming on board in that they need an explanation directly from Shepard.

Originally I thought it was the Normandy still being repaired after the SM, but given the time ellapse I doubt it.

It could just be a placeholder outfit.

Some of them were stunning. Also, there was at least one that reminded me of Illos, and one that reminded me of the inside of a Geth structure. 

That brief section of new footage, along with the new info on weapon customisation has me even more hyped than I was yesterday.

They thought the Reaper was the base, so it could only have been about a km in size. Besides, based on who's standing around the image of the planet that has got to be Quarian homeworld, and the Reaper chase demo really didn't look like it took place there.
