problems after completing arrival DLC?

i,m having a few problems after completing the arrival DLC mission in two parts...

1. all ship sounds are gone and the sound effects of going through a mass relay are gone as well.

2. I attempted to do the tali loyalty mission in the migrant fleet but it skipped over the trial and before I knew it I was being asked to go to the other ship and fight the geth.

Has anyone else encountered these problems?

Could it be part of the DLC because I had no problems before doing the arrival mission?

Can't comment about your first problem.

Your second 'problem' isn't a problem as far as I know. You always have to go to the Alarei to fight the Geth.

yeah but I did not even get to do the trial before hand just walked in and begin to greet the admiral and then a jump and i,m being sent to the alarei.....very strange and the ship sounds being gone is weird also!

If you miss the accusations being leveled at Tali then it would sound that something is amiss. But if that's the case it's the first I have read, unless others have noted it under the Arrival threads hanging about.

As such I'm unsure if there is a solution provided for the problem. (All I can think of are the usual things a console owner can do: clear the cache, redownload, or replay.)

The first problem with the sound issues after completing the DLC where some sound is missing is due to the last part of the Arrival mission where you've got to escape the project base and you're in vaccum and I think BW intentionally 'muffled' the sound to make it as if you were in outer space.

Consequently I experienced this myself and I just reloaded the game after manually saving progress, sound should return after doing this.

Not sure on the second problem though.

Ive managed to fix it by shutting down the game and rebooting my console.

I redid the tali mission and this time it went normally with ambient ship sounds in place but to be sure I went through some other missions as well and its all good.

I have read some other threads and people are having issues with this DLC which is a bit disappointing but i suppose all software does have its problems.

I believe it was due to the game being patched when the DLC installed, and there have been other small issues like powers not affecting certain targets and enemy spawns messing up or something. Although apart from the sound I haven't noticed anything else thankfully.
