Warrior DLC or Champion set or a hodgepodge of pieces?

Champion set is still exclusive, DLC is just situational. Don't mix things around, that's not good at all, you can do it with DLC but don't do it with the champion set.

I just took a serious look at the King Something's armor (Black Emporium) today because I kinda think the Golden Prince Rainment (DLC) is pretty stupid looking. (RAWR! I'M LION-BOY!) I was stunned at how great that one chest piece is. That King's armor with some gloves and boots that somewhat match seems to be the way to go for damage rsistance and defense . . . like untouchable.
I've only finished the game once so I don't remember how it stacks up to The Champion's set. To lazy to wiki right now.

I've always wondered what that King Something or Other's armor looked like, but I'm usually a rogue, so it wouldn't do me much good. Perhaps on the next playthrough...

It looks like the massive armor in Origins (that Alistair wears as king or Warden).
