I'm looking for an indestructible mage tank build. I need to know where to place my attribute points, ability points and which specialization I should take. Detailed information would be greatly appreciated.

It probably depends on whether you want a mage that can nuke everything into oblivion quickly or a supporter/harasser.
There are some very good mage guides in the class & companions thread at the top of the forum that you should have a read of that look at all 3 mage specialisations. See what one fits the kind of mage you want and go from there.

I think the general concept to been indestructible is to
a) have really high hp (pump heaps of constitution)
B) have really high health regen (if i'm not wrong, spirit healer can give you up to 140)
----> this in itself should make you next to invincible as your regen rate (140health regen=0.1+1.4+items=~1.5% total health each tick) will be generally higher than the enemies dps, and there's nothing stopping you from simply healing.

To aid to that indestructibility
c) equip good armour with high armour ratings (reduce damage taken)
d) avoid getting into melee combat

additionally, by going into bloodmage you can
e) pump con instead of willpower - allowing much higher hp levels to be reached while maintaining a sizeable casting pool
f) pump strength and equip warrior armour - you probably don't want too much strength so prebuffing will be important here. Also, as the armour-ratings aren't too different between classes you need to choose armour with the right armour-properties.
-----> damage resistance and +hp is what you're looking for. The best armour piece would probably be the helm of a thousand battles (which grants damage resistance, immunity to crits etc)
g) finally, bloodmagic allows you to use sacrifice/one foot in which should also help heal you up.

The downside of such a build is that you'll have truly terrible damage. you'll basically be solely relying on spells (as your attack-rating will be so low) and will either be stuck in the role of healer/buffer/debuffer, or maybe CCC damage dealer (the only way you might deal a little bit more dmg).

I would recommend checking out ezra fetch's spirit healer guide and maybe my section on armoured mages in my unfinished experimental mage-builds guide.
I would say such an indestructible build is certainly possible, but really unnecessary- as just using a standard spirit healer build (ezra fetch) should grant you the durability you want while maintain decent levels of damage.

hope this helps
