I don't think it's physically possible, look at those horns! How the maker would you get those horns into a shirt without ripping it apart...

A rather dashing vest that covers the torso but still flatters the waist and exposes the arms.

The Qunari are more technologically advanced than the rest of Thedas... they probably developed elastics and spandex centuries ago ;)

So, you're saying the Qunari wear Spanx?

That would explain a great deal...

I am now imagining the Qunari in overly tight full body spandex, was this mental image really necessary?

Hey if you spend all day working out in the qunari compound you want to show off those bods eh?
"Shall we look for that book today?"
"Nah, lets pump iron and have a few liver milkshakes!"

I have never had a problem with this, LOL. I would assume they don't WANT shirts. Shirts are not of the QUN!

Also, they have all this spiffy war-paint on, and that is just as good as a shirt. CanNOt DeviATE froM your ASSIGNED SHIRTLESSNESS. Cannot be more than what you already are (wearing...).

There are no shirts in Thedas that can contain their excessive musculature.

That suits me juuuust fine >:)

I've already answered this in another thread.

The Qunari in Kirkwall have no fixed source of income so they moonlight as Chippendale dancers and models in "fitness" magazines. Even Merill picks up on this.

I thought it was because it was easier to have half naked mud wrestling.

A thread like this can only lead somewhere awesome.

Though it makes the banter when Sten scoldes Morrigan for her slight attire all the funnier. I can imagine him running after his scandalous brethren with bundles of Qun-approved shirts under each arm.

Right Said Fred wrote the Tome of Koslun. Therefore the Kossith are to sexy for their shirts.

They don't just want to reform Kirkwall. They want to make it prettier, too.

I have no problem with qunari being shirtless... in fact I find it delightful. Besides, if they wore shirts you wouldn't be able to see their red body paint, and *that* would be a shame.

They were on a ship that sank? Presumably they had armour but stored it in the cargo hold. Because wearing full armour aboard a ship seems a little reckless. If you get washed over board you're gonna sink like a stone.

As for why they don't get new armour, well, I imagine nobody in Kirkwall want to provide armour or weapons for the possibly hostile force of highly trained warriors. And even if they do, just to get more money, the Viscount or Captain of the Guard probably veto'd it.

Sadly... they don't have the fashion sense of others.

You can call it ''Going natural''

On a serious note, should we all assume that the armor lost in the shipwreck were made of metal? Because I'm having a hard time picturing Qunari in metal armor and whatever full armor they're suppose to wear. What material are the helmets and spaulders/shoulder armor made of anyway?

The ones with horns cannot get shirts on without tearing them, obviously...

The only thing I find irritating about the Qunari showing off their chests is that I can't see Fenris or Anders bare chested as well.. :(

Why should they cover up that sexyness?
Oh, and if they did lose there shirts during the shipwreck, why'd they keep there pants?
