I think I remember another thread where people can argue about the cost-per-hour ratios, and how ridiculous it is to compare the two, so let's not go into that issue.



All I care about is the quality. As long as they put a good story with equally good gameplay, I'll dish out $5 for the add-on. I couldn't care much less about when it comes out, as I have plenty of other things to keep me occupied. If I have to put my DA-ing on hold until the DLC, that's fine. It's not like I'm missing out on precious time by waiting.



Also, they don't have an official release date set up yet. Most they've said is late January at the -earliest-. Just reiterating.

Interestingly, Priestley's stickied thread about the thing having been delayed is not there any more (General Discussions Forum), so are they having to reword that to make allowance for Xbox 360 downloads?

still cant see Return to Ostagar in DLC would like to know if anybody else haveing the same prob even when it has been released. lol ic they still havent released it for the pc no wonder y it hasnt show up in my dlc tab

I brought the PC Steam version of the game. Return to Ostagar doesn't show up in available DLC. Waiting for it, though ...

I've been waiiting all week for this DLC to show up in the Available Content tab in-game. It apparently isn't out yet.

OK, one thing to note is that for a DLC to appear in available content you have to successfully download an ORDER DLC, something which my computer seems utterly incapable of doing automatically. And I wouldn't be surprised if it's the cause of other people's problems with ordering DLCs... won't know until someone posts a manual link to the order DLC..... took me about a month of poking and prodding with Warden's Keep to get someone to post that.

I'm confused, what exactly happened because I downloaded it on the 360 and it works fine? Is there a reason why some people don't have it?

Its not out yet for PC version according to the post made earlier from Bioware.

I HAVE seen my copy of DA:O on the PC attempt to download what I think is the order DLC for RTO, if you look in the DLC FAQ someone has posted a link to manually download the RTO dazip file so I would say it is now available.... it just seems that so few people are aware of the order DLC files.

i bought the points and it is not showing up on available content .. im using steam and was able to ge the previous content .. any suggestions

What dazip file?  All I was able to get were all sorts of folders....

According to Chris, the 360 version of RtO developed an odd problem, and is being withdrawn because of that.  Read his announcement in the General Subjects Forum for details.  There was a preliminary estimate (also from Chris) that the PC version might have been made available at some point yesterday. 

That never happened, and at present there does not seem to be any better date for it than the ten days ago vaguely worded "perhaps by the end of the month" guess.

99% of people don't because they're small enough that for 99% of people they download straight away without any issues.... I seem to be one of only a very, VERY few people who's installation of DA:O has major issues trying to download these files.

Example:
Warden's Keep DLC file is called DAO_PRC_NRX_1_1.0.dazip
Warden's Keep order DLC file is called DAO_PRC_ONRX_1_1.0.dazip


Now I'm sure for the vast majority of people these install straight away in the 1st start up or so of the game, but for the very rare case like mine where DA:O DOES have problems getting these downloaded it's a real issue... A: Because DA:O doesn't always attempt to download these files and B: Because it's so rare most people have no idea WTF you're talking about and think you're a crackpot because they've never even seen DA:O attempting the download (because they probably didn't notice them amoung all the other downloading files from other DLC offers).

I'm f'n angry because the various Bioware web sites all make it appear as if the Ostagar DLC has been released. But after wasting a number of hours buying the damm bioware points (a silly and over complicated process to begin with) and trying to figure out what I was doing wrong to make it not appear in the content list only to finally stumble upon this thread and find out that the damm thing has not been released yet after all....



Grrrrr! Maybe at 50, I'm getting too old for this nonsense but c'mon guys get your sh't strait before spewing it out to us innocent gamers.

I believe that everyone should be happy that the Expansion Pack will be out in March and the RtO will be probably out by HOPEFULLY the end of the month, other than that, play DA:Origins again and again until you've exhausted every single piece of dialogue and storyline. Make different characters, make them look really weird looking so you can laugh everytime you see its face and maybe that will hold you off until the expansion and the DLC come waltzing through the door to see that you've gone absolutely insane.
