Essentially, as I remember it you romance both, then try to get Leliana to argue about Morrigan. You finish with Leli but then make up in a conversation option that occurs in camp after defeating Marjolaine. Leliana will never bring up the subject again. Then try to make Morrigan argue, cut the relation with her but then later make up by giving her a mirror. She'll never speak about it again, and you have your triangle.
However, in my current game I can't seem to find the option to make up with Leliana in the post-marjolaine conversation. She's all friendly, but no really romantic choice comes up. Is someone familiar with this situation and can give me a pointer? What might I be missing? Perhaps it has to do with hardening or not hardening, or some key response that I'm not making?
Or maybe it has to do with the situation being too drawn out? In this playthrough, Leli took real long to bring up the subject. I avoided talking to her to keep the post-marjolaine conversation active until she brought it up, and there were even several missions resolved before the jealousy crisis finally triggered. There was also a romantic conversation that was repeated twice for some reason (finally a clear night... the stars are out etc.) and maybe this buggered everything.
Of course if need be I can choose one or another, but that's boring. I had been planning on the triangle for the entire game and working towards it...
