"Communication with Mass Effect servers was interrupted or has timed out", that plus a message saying I should try again later is all I've been getting the last 2 days when trying to play ME 2.
I have seen threads about this problem in the Xbox 360 section of the fourms but not in the PC section so does anyone know how to solve this on the PC?
As it says in the title I've got ME2 on Steam, all DLCs installed if that makes any difference.
Please help

You mean you couldnt see this thread on page 2?

Theres 2 parts to this problem.
1) Win7 and Vista have ECN enabled by default in their network configuration, and ECN is not enabled on EA's servers. You need to disable ECN on your system by opening up a command prompt and entering the following command.
netsh int tcp set global ecncapability=disabled
2) Around the time of Arrival DLC, EA's servers stopped responding to the automatic logni requests, but manual attempts would work fine. Disable automatic login, manually log into the Cerberus Network, and you should be fine.
