Mr. Laidlaw, all I'm asking for is an expansion to update DA2 while we're waiting for DA3... I seriously want to play 30~40 more hours with Hawke and the surviving companions, as long as it adds to the lore of Dragon Age. And maybe a fourth act and additional cut-scenes while we're at it. I felt like my experience with this game was too short. I want Hawke's decisions to have a bigger impact on DA3.

P.S.: I want a nerd love interest in DA3.

I wouldn't call that enough play time to have a complete opinion of Geralt as a character nor the story, no? 

Not saying you should play it or not, it's your time you're spending. And if the game did not entice you, then it's not your fault. But my disliking of Hawke and the entire story is thus quite different.

Granted, it probably doesn't need one given how eager everyone seems to be to co-opt it into every single thread on BSN.

Nah, I don't like to spend time discussing things I don't like. I prefer to just forget them and move on. And I don't think they have an official forum, only the GOG.com forums probably.

I did not intend to once again express my disliking of the story because for the most part I stopped caring and found the alternative fantasy setting that interests me.

I just commented on one thing and it went downhill from there.  And I was not the one who brought TW up.

Just to clarify (and at the risk of going even further off-topic), I'm not calling it a bad game, or even Geralt himself a bad character, it just isn't for me. So you're right that I'm not as "qualified" shall we say to dislike him as you are with Hawke, or the DA2 story in general. Even so, those three hours were SO dreadful, that I can't imagine myself changing my opinion on it.

And to get back on topic... I'll just show myself the way out since I have nothing to say about it.

That wasn't really directed at you, more of a general comment. Just a personal preference of mine.

I would call DA2 a failure.
I put DA2 down almost as fast I got done with CODBO single player.Luckily CODBO has a multiplayer which I have played according to steam for 88 hours.Only on my first prestige since I am not THAT good at the game and still plenty of hackers.
I try to pick DA2 up again and find myself dropping it again very fast,
The game had little replay value.And for the small differences the story isnt interesting enough to make me go through it all again.

Not buying DLC *as with all games including call of duty*(too bad they arent releasing map tools with the mod tools for black ops....I suppose thats why the call it a beta((Bull****))I bet they will release their map making tools after they are close to being done with selling their map packs DLC)

Still a little sad that DA2 had no mod tools.Even DAO it took some time for good mods to come out.And now its gonna be even longer.

Oh well....I recommend anyone to go play APB reloaded open beta.Its a nice fun free game.Plenty of action....
