Three Lines I do NOT want to Hear in 3

"Hold on!"
"I'll destroy you!"
I've heard these NPC lines so many blasted times...
It's a simple request: Dub a few more lines, because when you're shotting at a group of twelve baddies and they're all shouting the same thing over and over agin, it's a big headache. I DOES help me clean house faster, though.

See, that should be "one fewer." Fewer. Garrus, I'm looking at you...

Especially when it comes up twice in rapid succession. "Enemies -! Enemies Everywhere!"

"I love you" (Sorry, romatic sob stories are that way).
"This hurts you, Shepard" (yes, hearing that line again will hurt me).
"Shepard! Old friend...", from Hackett (No, he's not Shepards friend. More like a backstabbing bastard that deserves a bullet to the head from a renegade Shepard)

That's Miranda's line. Garrus says "One less to worry about" which makes slightly more grammatical sense but come on give the vigilante a break in the heat of the battle.

Could you be more specific so i can take preventive measures?

My 3 lines I dread for ME3:
"I love you" (Sorry, romatic sob stories are that way). Don't choose it?
"This hurts you, Shepard" (yes, hearing that line again will hurt me). What if it's better executed by some other guy? You know "I will destroy you" sounds great with Jack.
"Shepard! Old friend...", from Hackett I agree, I adore Hackett but Shepard and him are not friends (No, he's not Shepards friend. More like a backstabbing bastard that deserves a bullet to the head from a renegade Shepard) Wha-?

If you mean as to who might say it, then I can't tell. Truthfully, I believe it's equally possible for all love interests.Mash Mashington wrote...

Pretty much any of Harbinger's ME2 dialogue.

I'm sure it will be in there, somewhere, for those who "complete" the romance arcs with their chosen LIs. If I remember right, Kaidan uses the l-word on Horizon so it has been said before.

Any kind of taunting from Harbinger
And no more statements that makes me think: "No ****, Sherlock."

Any generic army dialogue...
"Humanity is special."

It's actually used quite a few times in ME2. Both Ashley and Kaidan will tell you that they "loved" you on Horizon. Jacob, if I remember right, does explicitly state that he loves you but only if (funnily enough) you reject him during the romance scene. Thane also mentions it in his letter from LOTSB. I'm unaware of any further instances, though.leonia42 wrote...

In any event, I don't generally support this kind of thing (it just tends to feel cheap and overused). HOWEVER, I ultimately don't mind it so long as the execution is right. Execution, to me, is the most important thing. Anything can and will work if it's executed well enough.

Jacob already has that covered in ME2.
I don't think that I need to hear anymore "just like old times" lines.

I also don't want to hear any kind of rejection from Wrex. Period. ShepardxWrex for life.
