Daggerdale  :o

So, Atari has now released Daggerdale, offline or online co-op (4 Player?)..

For >>>  XBox or PC!!!

Is this the pre-release of what's to come ??  (Neverwinter)

Comments?

I pray it's not. Even if I hate what 4E Rules did to FR lore, I still hope Neverwinter is better than a third-rate generic hack-n-slash as Daggerdale (doesn't even deserve the name of that city of adventure) seems to be.If WoTC does not appreciate the FR Setting enough to keep it as the playerbase enjoyed it, they should use Eberron or a generic DnD world.

For a person that joined just about a month ago, it is now obvious that you're a chill for ATARI
attempting to drive interest towards uninteresting ATARI new shyte.

Lets not forget your attempt at demoralizing new players that purchase a new copy of NWN
at GOG.com with your "Is the END NYE?" previous thread :police:

Sucks.

That trailer is nothing but bubble gum action. It's the remake of Pool of Radiance on steroids. Dungeon crawl epic character building adventure. Not one screen showed any attempt at conversation roleplay or some sort of character development/plot. I'm not interested in gimp games like this, with or without the D&D brand.

FP!

Oh..I have noticed him in the past many times at the old bioware boards...no "new" person, but the rest......*shakes her head*

Don't like those market crier attitude.

After I watched a couple more trailers I was sadly disappointed, this game is not even close to nwn.

It looked OK in the trailer, but I'm thinking maybe this is what Neverwinter will be like...
(I sure hope I'm wrong)

I hope Atari & Cryptic get Neverwinter correct... (Like nwn)

As far was 4th edition Rules, well, if you can customize your world to your likings, then 4th Edition means nothing, the only thing I want to see is custom content creation available & a toolset.. If it doesn't have a toolset for building scripts / items / monsters / areas / adventures or what have you, then it won't be a success like NWN, not really...

I'd like to hope Atari has learned something since NWN2...

Meh. Reminds me of the old PS2 version of Baldur's Gate. What a huge dissapointment that was.

I'll pass.

This game looks like fun as an arcade game. Like Gauntlet. Not as a serious RPG though.

I humbly admit that I enjoyed playing BG on PS2, but only as an arcade game like I said. One of life's guilty pleasures - like laughing out loud at Beavis and Butthead.
