Anyone thinks its the same song? Or Is it just me. All I can recall of the ME2 trailer song was that someone for Bioware made it I believe but it was never released.

  ACR

That's a song I've been looking for a LONG time
if anybody knows it, please tell
I used to think it's "The Day the World Went Away" by NIN, but now I'm not sure.

Wow that song goes so much better with the ME2 trailer than it does for ACR

It's a remix/remake of it. Bioware did it exclusively for the trailer, afaik.

it does go better with the ME2 trailer:O
BW puts their focus on a cinematic atmosphere rather than visual effects

It still goes well here, too, but I agree with ME2 it fits better.

I have isolated the track using Audacity (you can do so too), but the result is underwhelming.

Sadly It's not. I should look around the old Bioware forums for more info. I wish they would release that song.

It's a custom version of the song. They didn't make it from 100% scratch. It's a remix, nothing more. NIN's version is much better in my opinion, especially the Terminator Salvation remix.

I got the song name right here.

Two Steps from Hell - Heart of Courage.

AC doesn't fit with the song, it's too sci fi.

Indeed.  Im not sure if they can release it viewing that. Jarrett mentions "BHS licensing"  guess that puts a framework in to use of  other artists work.  Releasing it may be against terms of use and may force Bioware to give royalities.   Mind you im only making assumptions, but I bet its not as simple as just making it available.

Although it is quite cool mix up of NIN isnt it B)

The first wasn't great, it just turned into repeating the same few things over and over again. But the second one was awesome
