Please, do not force homosexual dialogue on my character. Im not gay, I have nothing against gays, but I don't want to be put in that situation.
For example - playing DA:O as a male character and talking to Zevran. At some point he compliments me... I think he said I have pretty eyes - I don't know its been a long time - but if I tell him I don't appreciate that kind of gay talk you ****got ****** leave me alone... I am at risk of losing "approval points" and I don't want that - because I actually thought Zevran was cool, but now - I only talk to him if I am a female warden because it is just awkward to say the least.
I don't think it would happen that way with ME3, because it seems like Shepard always initiates the romance dialogue (with the one exception of Liara expressing her interest in Shepard in ME1) Im just saying I don't want to have to choose between 1. going through some slightly uncomfortable dialogue just to get to know more about the character at the risk of pissing them off because i turn down their gay request... 2. not talking to them any further because of the slightly uncomfortable dialogue

Please, do not force heterosexuall dialogue on my character. Im not straight, I have nothing against straights, but I don't want to be put in that situation.
For example - playing DA:O as a male character and talking to Morrigan. At some she asks if we could ever be more than friends - I don't know its been a long time - but if I tell her I don't appreciate that kind of straight talk you breeder hetero leave me alone... I am at risk of losing "approval points" and I don't want that - because I actually thought Morrigan was cool, but now - I only talk to her if I am a female warden because it is just awkward to say the least.

YEs!!!
Anyway.. gay dialog will not be forced on you. Just do what the homosexual shepards have done when the opposite sex squaddies got the idea shep was getting "friendly"
No You have the wrong idea option
Easy
Now quit your whinning gay option is a milestone, especially in something as big as Mass Effect
Sorry Dragon Age fans... Mass Effect is the bigger more anticipated game. Those are just the facts

Since when has ME ever had approval or disapproval with party members? It's not tied to your renegade or paragon score, so why are people concerned with this?
I don't think people think much before making these topics.

I suspect so too.
I don't know why people keep making these threads. Javier already said no s/s threads till new info is released. A topic like this will only lead to trolling and offensive posts, and people being banned as they were in the 2 previous threads.

Well obviously only heterosexuals have the right to hit on anyone and get hurt when they get rejected. /sarcasm

There are a lot of people uncomfortable with homosexuality. I highly doubt anyone is uncomfortable with heterosexuality. So,it's not the same.jlb524 wrote...

Oh but Ghost Warrior you forgot those are "terrible people" not worth any consideration. <_<
They also go on about how homosexuality is "natural" but isn't disgust a "natural" response for a straight indviidual?

I was put in that situation with DA:O and it somewhat ruined the experience for me.
No, there isn't approval ratings in ME, I used it as an example. That was all. And I don't follow the forums, this is probably my 2nd post and I've been a long time Bioware fan. I wasn't aware that I was breaking any rules by making this topic... whoops.
As for FrozenFire42 - your response doesn't make sense - If I offended anyone, I apologize..

ok - maybe some people have
misunderstood the point of this topic... I am not trying to troll or
flame or whatever... I am just saying - FORCE the player to initiate the
romance. Because I am not gay, and I personally feel awkward when a gay
guy tells me i'm cute, I don't want to be put in that situation.

Uh, I am. Very much so in fact. But you wouldn't know that on account of not talking to many gay people...
But I won't be arrogant enough to speak for them as a whole.
Heterosexuality makes me uncomfortable. More so Hetero males.
But I don't **** and complain about it because I like others having their choices. I'm passively nice like that...

Being disgusted just because someone is different than you is not natural.
