I just got the game today, and after I installed I tried to start of the game and I keep getting this message after I click play... "There is a problem with your game's setup. Please reinstall your game." I have since done so...twice, and I get the same message each time I click play.
My game is registered and patched to 1.02, in my most recent attempt, and it has made no difference. If anyone know how to fix this please let me know.

No luck. I have updated adobe air to 2.6, reinstalled, and the same error has come up.

Are Nvidia PhysX and Microsoft C++ 2008 Redistributable installed? Also update your directx if you haven't already.

My directx is 11 (February 2010) and my computer says it's already has C++ 2008 Redistributable, but I don't think I have Physx. My graphics card is a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4530. Would that be able to run Physx even though its not a Nvidia card?

No it can't, but it needs to be installed for most games anyways.

Nope, still not working. It seems to be happening right after the release date check, and if it helps here is a screenshot of the error.

Just in case, go to the folder Dragon Age II is installed at (mine is steam/steamapps/common/dragon age ii/) and open the redist folder.
Run the file labeled DXSETUP.exe
Reboot for good measure and try again.
