got this from tech support after about 5 sessions. worked for me hope it helps.Locate "AddIns.xml" in "C:/Users/(Username)/Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Settings" and edit it using WordPad or any XML editor. Replace *all* RequiresAuthorization="1" with RequiresAuthorization="0".

Without rereading it, my recollection is that Hemis' pinned sticky has covered that answer for over a year, right here on top of this forum . .

You can't have three threads about the same thing all active all at the same time.  Two must be locked.  You pick one to pursue, else Raen (or another moderator) will have to do so for you.

And if you'd read it there you'd also know that it doesn't for everyone. The key issue being that Soldier's Peak, Honnleath and Ostagar (For 'Return to...') are still never added to the World Map, even when the NPC characters who trigger these scenarios ARE spawned.

You are supposed to NAME a single active thread out of the three, to keep.  The moderator, a moderator, not necessarily Raen Imrahl, will take care of the two duplicates.

Setting the authorization code to zero DOES NOT solve the problem. It does create a host of others, however. Setting the game to not log in and then reverting the files in the BioWare\\DragonAge\\Settings folder (yes, all of them) to a previous point when the DLC was authorized if you have previous versions of those files will solve the issue. I make a backup of the folder periodically, and if you are in Windows Vista or Windows 7 you *may* be able to right-click on the files and select a previous version. Authorization is stored in multiple locations in addition to the addins.xml and if any one of them is reporting as unauthorized it can wreak all kinds of havoc on the game.

The 1.05 patch that is currently in the works is aimed at resolving these issues. They are looking for beta testers in the "Our Plans Moving Forward" thread pinned to the top of this forum.
