She won't be ugly though. If she was, I think Shepard's reaction to her face in ME2 would have been different:
Shepard: *takes off mask*
Tali: So then?
Shepard: Uh...I should go.

The only thing that would really dissapoint me about Tali, is if they either...
A. Make her a human Alien.
B. Make her a Space elf like so many of the fan art does. Seriously the sheer amount of space elf tali in fan art concerns me...

I don't care if Tali is ugly. I wasn't romancing her for her looks, and if you only care because of the mystery behind it.. then you are romancing the mystery not Tali.

Maybe she'll have a wrinkled nose and a weird earring but otherwise look completely human

Quarians don't have ears similar to humans, so I doubt she would have an earring. (Why would she wear an earring under the suit?) In any case I know she has what looks like a human face so far. However they have altered her face in start ways from ME1 to 2, so I am still hopeful they can make a sufficiently alien face. The Drell for example ,was an acceptable compromise from human to alien. (Though I hated how human their bodies were) I would be much more partial to a turian style alien (As in style, not a direct copy of course)
I am just really tired of how human so many of the aliens look. I can understand the bipedal thing in regards to modeling... but if you put a full body suit on asari, drell, batarian, their is no difference from a human. In fact, if I wasn't told ahead of time I would not have realized I was fighting Batarians at all during Arrival. (Barring the one or two squad leaders that are helmetless)

I was making fun of star trek for making aliens look so much like humans. Bajorans in Star Trek look completely human except for the wrinkled nose and a cermonial earring they wear

Ah sorry.
Well Star Teck is justified due to their extreme budget constraints and lack of CG technology. With Mass Effect it just feels lazy, epsecially since they don't seem to try to differentiate them at all. Like I said, I understand the bipedal for modeling reasons, but why can't we have more krogan, more turians, more salarians?

I actually liked how she looked thank you! Was dissapointed when I couldn't romance her. Then again... it might just be because she completely mauled a darkspawn with her bare hands. (And someone else I don't want to spoil because its so awesome.)

Especially when that LI has a fanbase as huge as Tali's. Make no mistake, if Bioware do decide to reveal Tali's face then she will definetly be attractive which in many ways is a shame, I like my aliens to look like aliens and sticking a human face and human hair on Tali's body would just seem like a cheap cop out. We know from talking to Grunt that Quarians arn't as soft and squishy as Humans, Salarians and Asari and the fact that they have the same Dextro DNA as Turians would suggest that they may have similar psysical make up as the Turians ( an endo skellington, a hard bone carice on the head, etc ).
