Chances are she won't be ugly. Then again, some will not like how she looks. just how I don't think Miranda is pretty, but not ugly. If they do make Tali "Ugly", then someone up in BioWare studios has a giant troll face on them.

This is all, of course, if BioWare decides to even show Tali's face to us...

I always assumed they were stated as not being as soft as other races because they are always wearing their suits, which have protective materials in them. What a Quarian is like under the suit is irrelevant for a warrior meant to kill them, because that's not how they'd be encountered in combat.

Considering these are *environmental* suits, and the most advanced of the sort, I doubt anyone living in one sweats much, as temperatures would be regulated constantly to keep things clean. You guys act like they're wearing skin-tight leather catsuits 24/7, but they're wearing contained optimal environments encased and regulated by a highly sophisticated piece of technology.

based on facial outlines, you know she at least has a smooth face and a somewhat normal-looking eyes/brow/nose area. Given that manShep isn't gasping in horror when she takes off the mask, as well as that she kisses him, one can presume her mouthparts are more or less normal.
Though if she has vertical lips...oh jeez.

A. Make her a human Alien.

While I see your point, I think you are a bit off when you equate human features to attractiveness. Garrus has certainly proven that you don't need a human face to be sexy. 

Tali has a very human body. Garrus doesn't.  Garrus' face fits his body - very alien.  Despite the hands/feet Tali has a woman's body.  If they give her a box shaped head with fish lips then it'd be just as out of place as giving Garrus t he head of Brad Pitt.  Tali will look semi-human more so then the asari.  Probably pale skin, pale eyes, and maybe something funky with hair/head ridges or ears.
