Yeah, living in that suit, sweat would build up, pores would clog, hair would fall out. Without sunlight, the skin would be clammy and probably develop sores and blisters..

Fortunately. Fan bois rule in this instance...if they show her face, she'll be hotter than a nuclear war on Tuchanka.

I would argue that if in the far future where weapons can be mass produced with laser printers, FTL travel is possible, and giant god machines threaten the galaxy, a species that has had to live in suits for a few centuries would have figured out how to put simple cleaning and recycling functions into their suits.

What we know:

- She seems to have two eyes, a nose and hints of a mouth.
- Shepard didn't leap away in disgust or Vader yell "Noooooo!"
- There is no possible way BioWare can make everyone happy.

Whether she looks like a "Space Elf" (where on earth did that term originate, by the way?) or something decidedly more alien, I highly doubt she is going to be horribly unattractive.

While I am not completely sure, I would guess space elf got its start in the Warhammer 40k universe in regards to the Eldar, who are exactly that. Space Elves. The Warhammer 40k universe was essentially games workshop doing a *What if* with their fantasy Warhammer IP, the result was a space version of all their factions.

There has also been a wierd trend in Japan where most of the time Aliens are elves. (In regards to ears at least)

Like they'll really intentionally make a LI unattractive. C'mooooooon, man.

Especially when that LI has a fanbase as huge as Tali's. Make no mistake, if Bioware do decide to reveal Tali's face then she will definetly be attractive which in many ways is a shame, I like my aliens to look like aliens and sticking a human face and human hair on Tali's body would just seem like a cheap cop out. We know from talking to Grunt that Quarians arn't as soft and squishy as Humans, Salarians and Asari and the fact that they have the same Dextro DNA as Turians would suggest that they may have similar psysical make up as the Turians ( an endo skellington, a hard bone carice on the head, etc ).

They could always go the Thane route, where she has vaguely human bone structure but otherwise is fairly alien in appearance. In fact, I hope that is the route they go. (assuming we see Quarians unmasked)

I also hope that if Tali or any other Quarian is unmasked, that they won't have hair. It would make them look too human, especially combined with their relatively human looking facial bone structure. The biological function of our hair is as an insulator to protect our brains from both extreme cold temperatures, and from the scorching heat of our sun. But hair isn't the only thing that would serve that biological function. Although we generally associate them with flight, feathers also serve as an insulator. In fact that was their original purpose when they first appeared on flightless dinosaurs. So, if Tali is going to have a mane on her head, let it be a mane of alien feathers.

I always picked Liara for the love interest but to have Tali would be cool. And if she is ugly big deal, she has a great personality and body. But I do think she'll have a horse shaped head, I mean look at how her helmet protrudes forward.

Agree about Tali's personality and body, but the protruding helmet is just to create a breathing space, as for her face .. it can be seen here in this old concept --> http://img.photobuck...r_Wolf/tali.jpg

Shepard could have just been in shock once he saw her face and froze, unable to make a run for it. Then, before he could escape Tali jumped at him, and took advantage of him.

Shepard now cries in the shower each night, trying to forget the whole experience through huge amounts of booze.

I had considered the possibility, but c'mon... It's Shepard. He doesn't freeze in the face of fear, he puts on a rape face and goes to town on fear.

Thane has been given one of the most interesting human alien like faces that i have seen since Jedi Master Plo Koon.

I like to think that for a moment after seeing Tali's clicking, leaking mandibles, Shepard was horrified. Then he awkwardly did his disgusting Shepard derp-smile and pressed on like the brave little soldier he is.

In one of recent podcasts was mentioning of the agony that developers were going through of achieving a satisfactory Tali look, especially the hair. They mentioned the HAIR, I remember clear as day.

Good. There are far more creative ways of making someone look alien without removing hair or a similar-looking birthday hat.

I like Aveline's look! And she isn't an LI anyway. Isabela and Merrill are the romancable females: one hot woman and one cute woman, of course.

Personally thinking Tali might end up looking something like Merrill. Minus the ears, of course. Something cute and human-looking for the fanbase to squee over. Personally, I'd like something unusual. Through their visors, quarians look like they have eyes with no pupil/iris and very thin features. That'd be interesting.

EDIT: And I'm hoping the humanisms stop (mostly) at what we know; Eyes, nose, hair. Deffinately looking for alienism in Tali Image IPB If she ever turned out to be a space elf, I... Don't want to consider this.

Oh, good Lord! She looks exactly as I feared, a space elf! Image IPB

I have faith Bioware wouldn't make her look so human - I mean, she has chicken legs! Quarians should look unusual. I've seen a few creations that have her basically looking like a human girl. Not interested in that. The asari are human-looking enough.

Took a while to decide on it, but I think it's alright. Some more "alieness", and it would be pretty damn good.

Indeed. They said that they had new hair physics/looks/tech or something; I'd bet they'd use it on Tali if they do a reveal for her.

Still looks like an elf, but with pointy lobes instead of pointy top ear.
