 Regardless of how she looks Tali will still have her personalityand she will still have those hips...unless of course the armour has storage tanks for air, food and excretions in that location...

too be honest I will shocked if they make tali ugly because they do not want to upset the Tali fan base by having someone looking like something out of alien.

I think they will do a variation of the human face but making it look more alien so to speak. (like ascari faces are like)

i doubt they will be like Krogan, Turian or Salarian in appearance

Huh...I thought his smile actually worked really well in that instance, came across as soft, gentle and loving...though I have a custom Shep, maybe it depends on what it does to each Sheps face....it's the smile at Garrus's reach and flexibility story that makes me cringe.

If they do happen to show her face, she's not going to be ugly. Most likely, she'll look much like a human. (Even though a lot of people are against the idea, we just don't need more humanoid looking things in space.) I don't mind personally, because those who do like Tali so far, like her for her personality.

If her hair were like that, I'd love it. I also like the eyes.
The rest of her face could a bit more unusual though...don't know how to achieve that though...maybe do something with the skin.

If they don't show us what Quarians look like in ME3 I'm going to cry. I think Tali will be good looking, but she also needs to have an "alien" look about her, if it turns out she and all other Quarians look like humans with some plastic special effects makeup slapped on *cough klingons cough* I'll be disappointed.

Like I said, more alieness! To be precise, the ears could be altered to be more of an "equivalent". I'm sure I'll be much happier with Bio's version of their most-loved character's face, though, they'll come up with something much better than what I can.


Not that Tali's face is anything more than icing on the cake

I would've thought from the shape of their helmets Quarians would have an elongated snout. There is little logic to having all the helmets shaped NOT to accomodate the head. With the females this is much less pronounced but it is still there to some extent. It also seems like it was less pronounced in ME2 than in ME1.

EDIT : ie headshape quite similar to the geth, who they created in their image.

I think that the helmets are only elongated to accomadate that flashlight-ish apparatus.

The thread title would have me more worried if it was "What if Tali is human?"


Ugly alien Tali is no biggy, easily compensated with all of her other aspects; even though Bioware wouldn't do that to themselves or to that huge of a customer group. If she looked very close to a human, I would be slightly sadder.

Hmm one of these threads eh? I'm slightly glad the Tali-Fans are bit more dispersed now, though I suspect they will come back as soon as she's shown in ME3.

One one hand I do kind of want to see what the hell a Quarian looks like. So I really don't care if she's ugly, though somehow I doubt she'll actually be "ugly" and more just weird alien. Frankly I thought that was the purpose really going on behind the Tali-romance is getting to see what the Quarians look like. But on the other hand I kind of don't want to know and would rather leave it up to my superior imagination. I also would by quite amused if Bioware troll'd us again, if nothing else to see some of the fanboys rage.

Also once we see what Tali's face is this meme will die...
