I am looking to buy the Collector's edition that includes awekenings and all the downloads.  Will I be able to upload my origins character into this game??

I think you mean the Ultimate Edition rather than the Collector's edition myself...

Not sure about the answer to this one, but seeing that an Ultimate Edition user could not use an original Origins disc to play I would hazard a guess that the system sees them as two different games which prevents you from using your DA: O characters in DA: UE (if that makes any sense).

That is only conjecture on my part though. Perhaps someone can provide a definitive answer for you.

The ultimate edition of the game is considered the same game and can load saves from previous editions without difficulties.

The only known problem is you cannot use an old disc while ultimate edition "dlc" is installed. (I do not know what happens if you have an old edition installed to the hard drive)

That was the case when a user couldn't start their game. Probably as you 'say', Magna; the dlcs being version specific. Sounds like ezmac should be fine then.

Hi...i am facing a problem while playing the game.i got the ultimate pack.finished the DA origins & installed the 2nd CD.now when i insert 1st disc for gameplay & try to start new game i get an error "The content you downloaded cannot be accessed,the game will now restart".This happens for all the add on games.i somehow managed to finish the"The Darkspawn Chronicles" with dialouges,horrible game freezes.But for rest of the game its the same frustating error.i went to the store,got the whole game replaced,but still it persists..please HELP !!!!!! what do i need to do ??
