You totally deserve a medal for your kindness to us narcissistic (god, did I spell that right?) folks. Funny how if the feature had never existed in the first place I wouldn't care - but it does and I do. Before I even saw you had replied my pics were there and today they aren't. Oh well. I did turn off automatically send screen shots to keep from hitting any max.



There are a lot of things about the whole social site that are a bit kludgy (did I spell that right?). And I usually end up wondering why I am here instead of playing the game! (oh that word, "social")

I've haven't had much spare time lately, and have barely read more than a few posts on the fora at all. But I viewed your profile today - and one of your characters has pics and the other doesn't. Since you're on the pc, you should be able to upload the missing pics. I'm not sure what you have and haven't tried and am not going to read back through everything to see if I can find out.

For the character with missing pics  - check in your documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Characters folder to see if the pics are there. If they are, and they're not uploading, I'm not sure what the problem is.

If they're not there, start up the game and make sure you are both logged in and connected to the server. Load the character that has missing picture files - DuranDuran iirc - strip everything (and I mean absolutely everything, not just weapons and armour) off him. Then, while he is 'naked' make a new save (not a quick save) in a new slot. Then re-equip him and make another new save in another new slot. Do not save over the previous save. This should cause the pictures to upload.

Edit: If it doesn't, there are a few variations that can be tried to get them to upload. Please feel free to send me a pm, since I don't always get around to checking this thread when I manage to be online. I'm very happy to help out or offer advice if I can - although I don't guarantee being able to fix problems, only to try.

My PC version of the character seems to upload fine.



But my XBLive versions are SORELY out dated. My Noble Warrior shows as level 16 and wearing armor he hasn't worn in forever. And my Mage shows at level 2 - and he's like level 21.

Just want to add that my profile is out of date, and I've played since the last update.

Serdira, for example, is quite some time out of date (I've done most/all the DLC with her, I think). She's sat in Warden Commander armor in my save file (logged out in Chantry robes after a screenshot), but she's still wearing Superior Dwarven stuff that I got just before Ostagar.

My characters are never updated since november. i opened the necessary ports and still nothing. but now i saw a "error code 1004 - No story xml file uploaded from the game to the on-line storage server."

I made a new character on the PC and have been playing (only level three or so) - still doing the character's intro story - but noticed that it hasn't been uploaded. Started the character about a day or two ago.

Deleted my characters hoping that they would start updating again but nothing.

My characters haven't updated in a very very long time. I've got the last two up to 22nd level, they still show as level 1 here. What do we do about this???

I had the same problem: characters never sync.

After long trial and error I found the cause - cyrilic symbols in "My Documents" folder path. I'm not sure, but I think any non-latin symbols in that path prevent characters upload. Moving My Documents to a new location fixed the problem.

Check your path now!

Yes and no. There is clear evidence to suggest that certain non-Latin (not just Cyrillic) characters interfere with updating, but some non-Latin characters work fine. It is definitely a point for troubleshooting, however.

Hey I made mine work!

The situation was: screens, achievements, CC chars uploaded fine, but no characters from the game. Not partially, not anyhow, like they didn't exist.

Solution: without uninstalling anything I manually renamed 'My Documents' folder, well, into 'My Documents' (previously it was in Russian) so that the whole path to saves was in English. And that's it. Now it works the way it should *happy dance*

And how about manual saves? I also forced a couple of screenshots to upload through the game manually by means of online profile page of the main menu. Can you do that, does it work? Do you see the uploading progress bar? The reason I ask is because after each manual save you can go to this page of screenshots in game and watch that bar appearing thrice though you didn't force any screens to upload. That's the files of your char it uploads I presume. If you see this - it's only a matter of couple of hours for the info to show up.

I have found a solution of sorts. I noticed that in-game my profile read that I had 100 of 100 files uploaded to the site. I removed all screenshots locally and online. The files were then listed as 40 from 100 total allowed. I am now able to upload characters again.

How do I see my trophies and stats on gameplay in dragon age.  I used to be able to see this information but have forgotten how to get there ?!!!
