My last character update was on 8 Nov.. and I've played almost every day since, always logged in of course. Character still shows as lvl 8.
Funny thing though - my achievement of "lvl 20 Archmage" does show up.

Edit: So, within an hour of me posting this here, my profile has been updated (for the first time in 3 weeks).
Coincidence? Anyway, everything seems to be a'ight now.

This is where I'm at, too.

My characters haven't been updated since November 14 (20 days!), but it does list achievements I've gained since then.

I've given up on seeing an update. I think the whole concept is horribly broken at the moment. I am at level 15 and my character has yet to show on the website, it was a novel idea but its execution is flawed at the moment

I finally got an update. It uploaded a character I deleted 3 weeks ago.

For anyone whose account claims it was synced recently, that means your game hasn't UPLOADED the files from your computer, and so it syncs what it can find (which is old). There is nothing that the website can do in that case, you must use the previously posted workarounds to get your game to upload the files.

Is there a way to make the game to send some updates, or must we simply wait? Because I completed my third run after 32 hours of gameplay, and the character wasn't uploaded at all.

* I turned off the uploading of screenshots in the Online tab of the game options.
* I then deleted all screenshots in my online profile, but not in my game, and then over a couple of days have deleted any others that have turned up.
* When the screenshots stopped turning up in the online profile I started playing my main character and he has been updated, although his specialisation skills don't show but everything else has.

So I'll try this afternoon to play one of my other characters and see if their info updates properly too. Basically it appears that all the screenshots that it was trying to upload had stopped it from updating any other info.

My Player Profile says "Last updated 2009-11-25 23:50:54". Although it isn't recently, it still is a whole 10 days after my characters were last updated...

Yup- nothing been waiting a week for anything to show up on my update ....

I didn't even know how to do it with the 360 at first...

but I have registered the 360 game...just can't seem to see anything under profile or anything at all : (

An where do i FIND those workarounds?!?!?

My char data is not updated anymore, only the archivements... strange...

Could you at least give a link so we can find these workarounds as i have not found any?

Yeah, I deleted some screenies yesterday and many new achievements were finally uploaded here. I'm turning off the take screenshots and upload them thing. They just waste space on the social site after all.

is staff at bioware really looking into this thing? because staff at forum passes us to ea customer support(which they dont give a damn) or workarounds that are doubtful that it'll have it updated.

QFT. EA support says u get a response within 24 hours normally. They say due to exceptional circumstances based upon the level of support requests they're getting for DAO, that could go up to 48 hours. All their estimates are bs right now. I've a support request that's not been responded to after 190 hours. Pfft.

my record is over 300 hours. i contacted support more than 2 weeks ago but i only learned that they dont give a "S word"

Ok, this might be some kind of fluke, but I was looking at one of my friends on this site's profile, and their info was all out of date and such. But after I finished looking at their characters and went back to the my home page, it said their profile had been updated 1 minute ago, and their character was several levels higher and had new achievements. Maybe some kind of coincidence but I think it's worth looking into.

Worst thing is to delete the auto-screenshots the game took, before I got brain and shut that function off.

Interesting fact : my characters will only be uploaded if the autorun is open, not the game. Is this a known fact?

I think they are when you see the message "Uploading news".

I too would like a link to the workarounds. I wasn't able to find anything searching the forums other than ensuring that DAUpdaterSvc is running, and deleting screenshots and disabling screenshot uploads.



My profile was last updated 11/27. Since then I've started 2 new characters, which aren't yet listed, and finished the game with 2 characters which are listed, but only at lower levels.



If there's a way to encourage the game to update to the servers, I'd love to read it.

i tried this trick with deleting teh sceenshots in my game as well as online and disables the "auto upload pictures" feature but still no luck.. no update on the characters.
