So, I've got this key.uti thing.. Well, not a thing, it's a key but, I made the icon a ring cause I couldn't find one of a key.. So wow, didn't even occur to me til now.. It's a keyring.. Brilliant.. I've done this setting plot flags business just via the conversation editor thing, and it seems as well as, setting up the quest, you can attach a script to it..

Problem is, I wouldn't have the first clue about what to put in this script.
I imagine there's some way you can do it using, "custom plot events" and the CreateItemOnObject() function, but.. how exactly to go about doing it, is just beyond me.. So hey, if anyone can offer any help, 'twould be greatly appreciated.. Thanks guys:pinched:

Granting rewards via plots

Each plot flag can have a reward associated with it, picked from a list defined by the rewards.xls 2DA. This reward is given to the player when the plot flag is set.
Once your rewards.GDA is in your export folder, it becomes available to plots when you next start the toolset.
This is a simple and powerful mechanism for giving the player XP, money, items or a combination thereof.
If you are making a new campaign, you may prefer to override rewards.xls entirely, since the default contents refer to the official campaign plots. Alternatively, you can make an M2DA if you just want to add to the official rewards.

Seems relevant.. I'll give it a shot hey? If my computer gets angry, or me.. I'm sorry world

Do you still have a question?

The rewards.xls method works.

Filter the icon names on plt_ico_key...

Both the rewards system and the CreateItemOnObject() function will work. If you plan to make a plot script for your plot, I'd use the function. If you don't plan to make a plot script, then I'd use the rewards system. Saves having to create two files.
