I want to use the NPC models from the OC, jacoby to be specific.
I can apply the appearance in the toolset but in game or on reloading the toolset the instance dissapears. I guess this is because the 2da's need to be present and for come reason they are not in the toolset standard. The instance is there, I just cant see it.
Is this the case, why else might the models be missing/dissapearing and where do I find the 2da's for these models (okay the last bit i can work out but I would like to know if i am right about the reason for the missing invisible instance).
Thanks
PJ

It would seem that you have a conflict in 2das - vanilla toolset should let you have the appearance without any workarounds.

Good call, I pulled off the Haks and checked campaign and override folders.
It's not the solution however, the problem persists depsite my efforts.
I noted as well that not only does jacoby not appear but having him around messes ap all the other players/npc's in the game.
Any further thoughts would be welcome.

Do you have a custom appearance.2da with your content and what hak/download is is part of?

Yes there must be as I have the rws_creatures hak inplace, when i removed it there was not change but now you ask the question I am wondering if I closed the toolset after removing it.
I would rather have the critters than the npc's but both woulod be good. I will give it another try.
