fight them one by one....run out of the room, hold your party outside the room....lure one (or two) of them out of the room, then...lure another one (or two), then....

it always work.

What level is your party? Unless Redcliffe/Urn of Sacred Ashes was your first stop after Lothering, this particular fight isn't much different than other fights in the game.

Send the tank in and go after any mages, then the warriors and then the rogues. Nothing too technical is required for this fight.

This pretty much covers what I would have said, too. If your tank is well-equipped and you've been paying attention to his talents, this fight is a basic tank-and-spank. Admittedly, the invisible enemies makes it a little difficult if you're not expecting it, but if you let the game do the targeting for you, your tank can hold their attention without any trouble, and then it's just a simple matter of picking them off.

Kind of makes me glad the AI isn't smart enough to do the same.

Shouldn't be hard. Like they said, go after mages first. It's your team, so you should know who are the threats after that. Taking down the healer is always a smart first move. Then go from there.

Really shouldn't last long at all this fight. On nightmare, it didn't take long a tall for me. It's just another fight where you have to prioritize targets.

of course it will work

the mirror mage and archer will not pursue you, they will be in the room (or far away to be effective), only melee will pursue you so lure them out and knock them out. Then finish the other two.

I tried this technique and it didnt work. The whole party followed me and layed the smackdown time after time.
In the end i dropped the difficulty level from Normal to casual. Bit of a cheats way of doing it but i only had to health potions and i am not leveled up much.
BTW , im a noob so what this "tank" u speak off? Is it your main character?

Strange, I always felt that the encounters in the ruined temple were much more difficult than this one. If you could get by the cultists and the drakes, the evil twins shouldn't be too hard.

Oh well, good luck.

Edit:

BTW , im a noob so what this "tank" u speak off? Is it your main character?

It's the character who is most adept at shrugging off damage.  Tanks typically wear heavy armour and have a lot of hit points.

Edit #2: What level is your main character and who is in your party?

You should have some tactics in this case. First, try to eliminate the mirror mage(s) as quick as possible by simply send the whole party to focus their attack on it (them), ignore the other mirror enemies, but try not to let any member of your squad down. When you are done with the mage(s), then try to attack the second enemy who is the most fragile, and of course, the most durable enemy should be your last deal.

Very easy, first pause your game, then hold the left button of your mouse to select the whole party, or use the the small button under your party's profile, on the left of the screen (beside this button is the button Hold/Move freely). Then set the mouse to certain enemy and attack.

Well I don't have an XBox, so you have to figure it out on your own, or ask someone who have Xbox. Sorry for your inconvenience :)

Select all members, there should be a "select all" button below the portraits then focus fire on one unit at a time until they die. Then unleash all your spells on that focused target as well. Check your control options menu on which buttons corresponds to your xbox controller or read some DAO faqs for xbox. Best to kill mages first cuz they deal the most damage, stun/kill them immediately. You can also hit and run to get a better position, never fight in a bad position.

Your tank should be a warrior (best is with sword/shield), he should be in front taking all the damage while the rest of your party deal damage. Best tank is Alistair of course then Shale, Sten and Oghren or if your main character is a warrior.

Hold down the trigger that causes you to shift characters. Off the top of my head, that's how you can selected multiple focus. Then it's just a matter of targeting a guy and hitting ATTACK!

It's been a few weeks since I played DAO on me PS3. Same button on the 360 I do think.

If any of your mages have Blizzard, inferno or tempest. Withdrawing out of the room and casting the AoE in the room looks like a good idea. If you have mana clash, use all your mages and just make sure you cast mana clash FIRST.

Another possibility is to open tactics for each member of your party and set a "enemy: target of main character/controlled character" option in an unused tactics slot. Real convenient if you want your entire party to focus on the same victim...err...enemy... all at once.

As Fred said. I usually have everyone attack the same enemy as the tank. That makes a big difference as to focus the party's damage and to kill targets quicker.

1. target of <Alistair> - attack

If Alistair isn't the tank, then have them attack the target of whoever is the tank. If it's your warden, then pick "main character". You can also use any attack, not just auto attack.

Too bad...it always work for me lols

i think...maybe you hold your party too near? Place them far away, use one  to lure the enemy out,

if you have mage, Cone of Cold them, or Force field one of them to block others in close space., or to nullify one enemy.

who are your team mates?

I made it through. Ive now started uing Alistair as a "tank" he has heavy plate armour and a huge sword which dish`s out damage like soup at a shelter. I use him myself while having my mages tactics set to "distance"
Doing much better
