I have been having trouble determining whether or not certain states are mutally exclusive, and how far I can go without screwing up my import.

Question 1: 
Is it possible to make Alistair the Ruling King, Recruit Loghain (to have him kill the Archdemon) and still be Alistair's mistress in the save import? Or does sparing Loghain automatically end any romantic relationship with Alistair? 

If this isn't possible, can I just have Alistair kill Loghain, become ruling king, and do the ritual with Morrigan, while still having my warden remain his mistress?

Question 2: 

If I get Alistair all set up as King, and my Warden installed as his mistress, how far can I go in the Zevran relationship without screwing up the mistress situation or breaking either Alistair or Zevran's heart?

Wow...my head hurts after reading all of these scenarios.

Alistair or your warden can kill Loghain if no one is marrying Anora.

If you recruit Loghain, Alistair leaves the party, though he can still remain king. Since he's no longer with the group, I'm sure that kills any romantic options.

I can't say much about the 2nd question, as I scrapped my one female warden as soon as I got the Alistair romance achievement.

Romance option is shot to pieces if you spare Loghain. You can have Alistair kill Loghain, become king, do the ritual, and have your PC be his mistress, but he has to be hardened to get the mistress option.

I have no idea about Zevran.

Thanks. I figured you couldn't spare Loghain, but I was hoping it would work if you came back and said "but you see, he's dead NOW. And it worked out so much better." Stupid not being able to have all the cakes.

After Loghain dies Alistair will grudgingly admit that things worked out, but his tone of voice makes it plain that any chance for romance is dead.

I haven't tried romancing Zevran after brokering the Mistress deal, but I think you may still get the "choose one of us" confrontation when Zev reaches 70+ approval.
