I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this minor issue. I started a new playthrough as a rogue after installing patch 1.02 and am on the run from the darkspawn in Lothering. As I have the black emporuium DLC, Hawke's dog was also there.

Aside from Hawke's inability to spin his daggers while running, I noticed that the npcs in that area (i.e. Leandra and Wesley) do not follow the party anymore. They just stand there and do nothing and will not move even when the rest of the active party has started to move out of the area. It's not a gamebreaker because the game forces them to be in the next area (after the cut-scenes and so) but it does get kind of annoying. Hawke's dog fights and follows the rest of the party fine though...

Sort of a big deal here. It's not the audio leveling issue but another one entirely I think. when ever there is too much action on screen with combat noises all audio in the game will turn into crackling nonsense and just really ugly noise. One way consistently trigger it for me is to have Anders cast haste have two dual wield rogues (one is Hawke) and Fenris.

Haven't played enough on the new patch to experience this issue but I was already experiencing this issue with patch 1.01, especially when having dual wielding rogues going up against an enemy who uses magic (Abominations, Fenris' former master etc). Seems like where there is a lot of activity (magic casting etc) already going on around the target enemy and with rogues slashing at the same enemy repeatedly, the sound gets distorted and turns into what you describe as "crackling nonsense".

Same here, I've been having this issue since day one.  Not as big of an issue with me though because I simply save and reload after the fight when it happens and it seems to clear it up.

This may just be me, maybe it's a one time glitchy thing. But playing the past hour I noticed during CS's all of the characters eyes would take turns getting all rainbow-like, kind of like stained glass windows. Again, don't know if it's just me or maybe a one time glitch, but I thought I would post it just in case anyone else had a similar problem that may be patch related.

Does the patch make auto-attack work like it did in DA:O? I didn't see it mentioned, but I might have just missed it. I know they added auto-attack, but when I tried it Hawke would loose the target if he was even one inch away from my sword swing. I really hope to see a fix where Hawke stays targeted to the enemy until he's dead, even if the enemy takes off running Hawke should go after him.

Unfortunately it doesn't work that way, if your a Warrior or a Rogue, and your only a few inches away from the target and try to auto-attack Hawke's just sorta ''rallies'' his sword up in the air, instead of chasing the target. However if your a mage ..it's much easier ..with the range attacks and all ..:P

Played endgame fight on both playthroughs and STILL no epic trophy! Any ideas? Can you not skip any of the dialogue/credits? Is there a certain part you need to start from (both saves were right at the gate before the final fight)? This trophy is driving me crazy!

Patch 1.02 notes :
The Epic achievement or trophy can now always be unlocked.
The Supplier achievement or trophy now always unlocks after finding at least 66 resource varieties, including resources purchased from the Black Emporium.

But unfortunately both are still glitchy for some people.

Anyone else getting randomly teleported to different areas? I was wondering around the Wounded Coast and had just cleared the area with the dead Grey Warden messenger, when it lagged for a second and started playing the cut scene for saving the viscount's son. Also, when Grace takes Grey Warden Bethany, after the fight, for some reason it played the scene like she was in the Circle. Final issue so far, Hawke doesn't talk in battle. I saw someone else say the same thing so it's good to see it isn't just me.

Anyone have any tips on how to get the epic trophy to pop now? Played the ends of both playthroughs about 4 times each with no luck. Bioware....anybody?

I would like to note that this patch is supposed to correct Aveline fighting Meredith while everyone else is disoriented- it didn't work. Aveline still hacks away, and so did my warrior Hawke. Image IPB I'm wondering if this could have something to do with one of Aveline's tank talents- is that why she is immune somehow?  This happened on the last 2 runs I did. Rogue and mage hawke were properly stunned however.

I noticed though after i installed the patch one of my weapons changed to a one-handed and shield type when it was originally a two handed weapon it was one-cut the weapon with the messy kills so i was just wondering why it does not list that it was changed.

FYI - A DA2 patch can adjust how
imported flags are being interpreted within DA2 and allows us to dig a
little deeper into the data to compensate for known inaccuracies but it
fundamentally can't address whether or not such flags were set correctly
in the first place. We've made a variety of import-related fixes that
will correct things in many cases for many users but there will still be
a handful of cases that we've been unable to cover due to the
underlying data simply not being accurate or present.

As a case
in point, note that last year we released an updated 1.1 version of the
DAO Witch Hunt DLC across all platforms, correcting how some key data
was being set at the end of that module. Playthroughs using the 1.0
version, for instance, will not be read in correctly by DA2 whereas
playthroughs of Witch Hunt 1.1 will be.

We're looking into ways
to better address these sorts of interdependency issues as the franchise
moves forward but, for this patch, we've focused on making better use
of the data we have.

Thanks,
Rob

How can I tell if my version of Witch Hunt is 1.1 on the PS3?  I installed this patch [edit: for DA2] and DAO import-wise, I'm still having the issue described below.  It sounds like it might be remediable via the 1.1 WH version, but how can I tell if that's the version I used lo those many months ago?:

In DA:O my GW  was a mage and Ali[stair] I kept as a GW and the dark ritual was done and they were lovers. In DA2 Hawke meets Ali and he refers to my female as old friend were as they were and still are  lovers!  I hope this bug the new patch didn't fix this.

Also, my Hawke, a female rogue is silent during battle--before and after the patch.

Thanks!

It is still not fixed for me. I called support to ask about it, and they said the only place I could get an answer is these forums, and they still haven't responded to me.

I found a new bug which has never happened to me before. After the Deep Roads, Bethany does not change clothes into her Warden armor, and the armor is in my inventory like a regular item. I finally got her back in party for Legacy, but I can't equip this armor even though it says it is Bethany restricted so she is still wearing her starting outfit. Just wanted to report this and see if anyone experienced anything similar.

I don't have access to my PC install right now, so can't say absolutely if this bug is same as PS3, but here it is...

A few skill upgrades cannot bechosen in the skill tree, even if requirements are satisfied. The ones I've found to be unselectable so far are:
  • Mage / Primal : Stonefist upgrade
  • Mage / Spirit : Death Syphon upgrade
  • Mage / Arcane : Mind Blast upgrade
  • Rogue / Scoundrel : Back-To-Back upgrade
  • Merrill / Dalish Pariah : Wrath of the Elvhen, topmost upgrade (Loss of the Dales upgrade is OK)
The companion skills are all good so far as I've come (Act 1), with the exception of Merrill.
Apart from Merrill, available companions I have verified personal skills for are Varric, Carver,
