Kasumi and Zaeed LI ftw.

Is Zaeed even capable of love at this point?

Sir...
Have you ever heard the story of Jessie?
She was a damn good rifle, no man could avoid her charms... even Zaeed.

Yes yes, and she was laid to rest. Saddest day of his guddamn life.

Thats my point though. Does the man have any love left to give? Will the broken soul of Zaeed sing once again? TUNE IN NEXT WEEK.

Though I wouldn't mind (especially as a lesbian option), she seems to be carrying a rather noticeable torch for a certain chocolate Cerberus operative on the CIC.

I absolutley hated the storyline in Stolen Memories although infiltrating the party was kinda fun and was an underdeveloped good idea.  I always felt that I just didn't know Kasumi well enough to care about her, especially in the heavily emotional stuff at the end of the DLC.  The DLC was worth it for the submachine gun in the vault though.  It turns any class into a soldier at close to medium range.

I LOVE Kasumi, I personally want her to be a LI, but ONLY if they don't force it by disregarding/mishandling the Keiji and Jacob factors. If that were the inevitable case, then NO Kasumi for me, I'm more satisfied when the story stays consistent.

I'd say no.

I play Shepard as an Infiltrator, and use Kasumi in various missions. I consider her much much more like a sister/very good friend than a LI. I don't know about you guys but I think it's just her character..<_<

She is super hot and the best human squadmate out of both games. But I don't think she would be interested in Shepard. Especially with her boyfriend dying recently etc + She has hots for Jacob ...

She likes Jacob that's clear I would rather she wasn't a LI.

I would like to see her return as a squad-mate, but as more of a best friend to Shepard. I don't think she was given enough of an arc in the first game, and I would like to see her have a decent one. The same goes for Zaeed. Actually, they could reflect your renegade.paragon status, with Kasumi being supportive and generous if you're a paragon, and Zaeed insulting you if you are one. It would be the opposite if you are a renegade.
Keep in mind, I view paragon and renegade as idealism versus cynicism more so than it's good versus evil. Both the paragon Shepard and the renegade Shepard (as well as the ones in between), try to do good, but the paragon treats sentient beings with respect and doesn't compromise on his/her morals, where as the renegade treats only those sentient beings who have earned his/her respect with respect but not with anyone else, and is willing to do anything to get a job done.

Mallene Calis would be a better LI.

While she isn't my cup of tea and couldn't sway me from Tali or Jack, it would be an interesting option and she seems to have a good fan base.

Of course, at that point I have to start wondering about Shepard's sheer animal magnetism. Every one and their mother seems to want a piece of The Shep. Next thing you know, Shepard will wear nothing but a towel and mention that he's "on a horse".

Agreed, just have her as a developed platonic relationship if the writers don't have the time to acknowledge her lingering feelings for other men.

I agree that Kasumi is awesome. I would probably romance her, given the option.

Leave her with Jacob imo. Though for Kasumi lovers, that's one more reason for Jacob to have "an accident" during the SM :P

I would love for her to become a LI, but unfortunately, probably won't happen. She's got that loving personality, anyone can become good friends with her.
Zaeed to me, is quite boring. In my first playthrough I thought I had to talk to squadmates to gain "loyalty" (Which is kind of true, though not the DLC squaddies.)...Luckily for us, he's located near the garbage compactor and all I did when he talked boringly was make garbage and dispose of it. Thank God he was placed there, I wouldn't of stand his boring talks otherwise. ._.

Zaeed's talks werent the most interesting but I think it's because they weren't "interactive".

Kasumi was an awesome character and was more entertaining to talk too, but there is a chance we won't even see her in the next game. She was a DLC character after all, what about people that never used her?

Well, Kasumi has the same style of talking but she is much more popular to talk to. The reason for that is, unlike Zaeed, she will talk about the crew and even say new things depending on which missions you've done. Like she praises you for breaking up the Miranda/Jack catfight, or comments on the quality of the food both before and after you upgrade the chef's stock.

The few times Zaeed mentions a crewmember he never provides any insight into their personality; he just uses it as a lead-in for another long boring story about Batarian pirates. The only crewmembers I can think of that are as boring are Samara and Jacob.
