They said that with dragon age.  You will still get visibly hit on, and have to reject it.   And honestly, most people aren't going to see the dialouge anyway.  Just seems like a waste.

Personally I was hoping they were going to make it a kinda love triangle with LI from 1 and LI from 2.  Now it sounds like its just going to be a shallow cutscene with whoever you want it to be to please the people crying about it for years.

Shepard has been straight, from ME1-2. You can class your Liara romance as a lesbian one but it wasn't, she is a asexual alien. You can class Kelly as a romance, but it wasn't, just some stripping.

Asexual means they would reproduce without any aid, IE budding as a sponge does.

Asari are classified in the codex as "monogendered" which means one gender, which they state is female. Yes, that argument again... I'm just saying that particular statement isn't quite right.

I'm sure they've learned plenty from the feedback of DA2. Now you're just looking to complain.

You may get hit on, yeah. But the characters are supposed to be like real people wth real personalities. You can't control everyone in a game. You'll just have to roll with it.

wait so the all FEMALE race with FEAMLE anatomy( you know uterus, among other things) doesn't coun't  classifiy for a female and female romance ?  and I don't care what people say my evil alien hating Femshep is a lesbian.

I know the other fear is "OMG now all the characters are gonna be bi and they'll totally hit on me!" Chud also mentioned that this would not be the case. New LIs, if I recall correctly, may have a chance to be "shepard-sexual" but your entire previous squad isn't suddenly going to want to jump you at every opportunity.

Not everyone is gay.  This is a fact of life.  Garrus and Wrex have not been written to be gay..  neither has Shepard tbh.  If he had, it would have been in there from the beginning.

they are sacrificing the story, for the sake of giving a very big minority of the playerbase a feature they want.

Male Shepard being gay is being shoehorned in. Nothing more, it's shoehorning in a feature that really doesn't go with what has gone before.

"These things" get locked because there's no new info, and until we have something new the mods are going to close them regardless there being homophobic posts or not.

Also, Asari are not asexual as stated in the Codex.

Not really. He also hasn't expressed interest in any asian women yet, does that mean that an optional asian romance would be sacrificing the story? He hadn't expressed any interest in quarians in the first game, and in the second he  can shack up with Tali.
