We've all played through the adventures of various Shepards but I'm certain that there are times where, no offense to the VAs who do an awesome job, we have a particular kind of voice in mind for our Shepards. Does your Shepard have a gruff and weary voice ala Solid Snake? Or maybe something more smooth and melodious?

If I could choose, Orion would be voiced by either Ron Perlman, or TC Carson, and Olivia would be voiced be either Anna Torv, or Jennifer Hale with a British accent (think Bastila).

HEY, that's something ME should've had! Veer and Hale voicing their characters in a few different accents!

I'm sure Hale and Meer have enough lines as it is, lol.

And watch as their performance becomes even worse.

I'm sure the sheer amount dialogue that has to be recorded may be why Meer/Hale's acting in Mass Effect isn't all too grand.

I said Browder and you said Black. Together, I think we're on to something.

I just love Hales performance too much to replace her.

End of the day, I'm still going with Mark Meer. If I had to pick someone else, though, it'd be Browder. That's technically what I meant.

Jennifer Hale.

Something less boring for MShep. Steve Blum, maybe? I don't know.

Me. I think I would freak out a bit though when I would see Shepard's rape face and him saying "What about love?".....

the only reason I began watching Farscape was because of Browder and Black from seeing them in SG1 haha.

as for me I could go with Ben Browder or Joe Flanagan (Col. John Shepard SG Atlantas) and not because of the name. Jason Momoa (might have messed up the last name) would do a good Krogan imo hehe.

this isn't to say I don't like Marks performance though.

They aren't trying to force a particular emotion on lines that don't imply a particular emotion and they are trying to make each line come off as if it doesn't need the other lines for support.  The former is preferrable to the voice actor setting the emotional tone for my Shepard. The last part is a failure on the part of the writters.

the most uniq and perfect male voices i have ever heard are the voices of Mark Meer and Kevin Conroy ( Batman voice..i'm not a DC universe fan but still)...
for ladies the most uniq and perfect ones has to be the voices of Claudia Black and Liz Sroka
